Round 6 Discussion

Manly got fucked over in that one.

That was a clear as day penalty what Lafai did.
StG copped the brunt of bad calls in this game, so I can live with the result. Great game. These two teams will be around come September.

I'm not sure how to go back and check it, but I'm pretty sure every Warriors game I've tipped in the comp this year has been wrong. Anyone else becoming Costanza of Warriors games?

Edit: Other than the first one against the Dogs. Well, that's not as fun now.

Yeah, I know. He was massive tonight. We certainly miss his guaranteed 30 tackles and 140 mtrs per game.

Still think it was an absolutely ridiculous decision to let him go.

Hunt's kicking game against Manly was very good. Especially his long kicking which was consistently good.

I can certainly understand why Manly were frustrated with that final play.

Page 17 stipulates that an escort hasn't been comitted if a player is running towards the football and if he takes up his position prior to the football arriving. Lafai satisfies the first element, but then he changes his position to take Garrick out of the play. Garrick was long odds of challenging Pereira for the football, but that doesn't excuse Lafai's foul.

As far as whether it should have been referred to the video referee, I'm OK with the referees leaving that on the field while referring the incident with Aitken. Parker committed a professional foul, deserved to go on report and was fortunate to stay on the field.

The decision to let McGuire go is going to be one of those ones that will benefit us in the long run. We just couldn't keep all of the young forwards together if we had him.

Besides, McGuire hasn't performed like that for us in quite some time and I really don't think things would be much different if he had stayed.

What was that from Cartwright?

He had the perfect opportunity to pin SKD in goal but he just comes up with one of the most lazy attempts at tackle.

He has been playing like that for the Cows all year tbf. He obviously hasnt made the kind of meters he did the other day but his performance levels have been better than anything we have. I cant see any benefit at all so far. Flegler, Haas, Carrigan, Sua were already tied up before he left, think we only have Fifita left. I'd have rather kept Moose tbh than TPJ.

And then he gets taken over the sideline...

That looks like an ACL for Ryan James.

Knights are trash (today). Titan bros looking out for my SVRL side

Nathan Brown must be long odds to keep his job .

So Ash Taylor does everything he can to avoid contact with the dummy runner, he was inconvenienced and contact was made to the outide shoulder but the try was awarded. He should have fallen over and he would have got the penalty.

As bad as milf has been, Taylor makes him look like a superstar

Just quietly would've liked to have gotten Tyrone after his time at GC the first time

A post-2015 spine of Milf, Roberts, Taylor/Hunt/Niko woud've been interesting

We are currently behind both the Titans and the Cowboys-let that sink in.
