With Dearden well under done due to no QLD Cup, I imagine the risk of injury is higher.

If Seibold is looking to drop Milford if he doesn't pick up his act very soon, perhaps he is keeping Dearden on ice for that reason.

Dearden should already be in the team. Seibold is gutless to drop the wonder kid for some unknown reason.

My head hurts even more now. How the **** do we keep injuring players at training?!

In another twist, Badel is reporting Niu isn't signed for next year, but has given Mal a verbal agreement to sign with the Titans for 2021. Mal is "privately confident" he has him. The Broncos have also submitted an offer.

Puts another dimension on the game: if the Broncos get done, they can't really put shit on him for leaving.

I wish they scored off this.
They effectively did a few plays later but there'd have been nowhere to hide.

That tends to happen when your side is ravaged by injuries and suspensions. The depth department doesn't make for a good looking bench.
Understand all that but, isaako in the backline and Oates, dearden, Kennedy and teo would be a lot better. Imo of course

I Just want Dearden in. Another loss coming up if we put in last weeks effort.

I'd cop that team only if Isaako and Oates were to swap positions.
Would prefer Dearden get the utility spot purely to get some game time, but can understand the reasoning for leaving him out (if this truly is Milford's final chance).

There is just no way we lose to the Titans. No way.
We'll see. Brisbane lost to them this time last year when they were travelling much better than they are now.

That was also the scene of arguably Boyd's most infamous take-a-knee moment so an anniversary of sorts.

The ****? So Nui has apparently agreed to sign with one of our rivals so we reward him with the fullback spot? Either Badel is full of it or we are, based on current evidence it really could be either.

Surely a club like us doesn’t buckle to an 18 year old, if it’s true just sit him out for the whole year. Obviously needs to be true though

I said earlier when Isaako being dropped rumour was mentioned: It seemed like a reaction to make Niu happy and not a well thought out team change.

Has Boyd been shifted to the other side or is this just continuing the bronco tradition of naming the centres wrong?

I hope this is an indication that Boyd will make room for Staggs upon his return.
