PRE-GAME Round 7 - Broncos vs Titans

We'll probably win because the Titans are bad and we have some players that are flat track bullies. We won't put a score on them because we're completely clueless in attack, so it'll be a very hollow victory.
Clearly you haven't watched them. They haven't been anywhere near as poor as the Broncos since the resumption. It's no sure thing and the Tits may even be favourite! Naturally plenty of silly ***** like me will back the Broncos but the Tits have way superior form.

I actually think Kennedy is playing better than a few of our starting team and deserves a shot regardless of suspension.
Keep croft at half and pair with dearden. Push Isaako to wing and bring nui to fullback.
1. Nui
2. Isaako
3. Farnsworth
4. Boyd
5. Coates
6. Dearden
7. Croft
8. Haas
9. Luke
10. Lodge
11. Oates
12. Glenn
13. Flegler
14. Milford
15. Kennedy
16. TPJ
17. Offa.
(Im assuming carrigan gets suspended and recite is fine)
Glenn/milf cover utility duties.
Tell the forwards to forget about offloads and go full tilt. We need to get momentum in this season, and quick play-the-balls is a must. Have them running deep either side of croft to pose doubt, with an aim to drive hard but low so to avoid wrestle, and finishing on your front.
We are standing too tall in the tackles trying to offload, but losing ruck speed.
Offloads should be kept to late in the count/around the twenty.
Keep errors to a minimum, and try and hold them to their half with tactical kicks, mixing in some 4th tackle options.
The problem with dropping milf is it weakens our kicking, so we must be prepared to mix it up with our kicking options. Our fullback needs to kick (both attacking and punting) and Luke needs to chime in also.
Kicking becomes easier if we win the ruck regardless so that must be the priority from here on in. That and changing the appalling attitude in defence.
Err, we DID WIN THE RUCK against Newcastle!! We had considerably faster ptbs with all our forwards beating theirs in ptb speed. I'm not saying we weren't bad but a preconception doesn't help analysis!

Just rambling now but Tpj should be a 50 minute middle forward, haas shouldn’t be playing more than 65minutes, lodge needs to bite the bullet and get his knee fixed. Our whole middle forward bench use is fucked we are leaking meters like I’ve never seen. Fucking Kennedy should starting he does the little things right at least. I’m just going to be rambling throughout the day.
Haas only played 59 mins. TPJ got the whole game but I don't think that's going to be the normal game time. It seems like Seibold wanted him to get match fit so I can see some logic in that. All the stats show the Broncos weren't too bad in the forwards and with some luck and a ref that would shut the **** up we may have won last night.

We were still getting killed in the middle defensively but yes those 6 agains did us over again.

Your shitting me right?
We were dominated in the forwards all night
Our forward pack is full of softcocks who don’t know how to get dirty and win the ruck

Err, what exactly did he do wrong? No missed tackles, averaged over 9 metres a carry, averaged 4 post contact metres per tackle, one penalty( nothing in it either but you know, it's a Bronco) no handling errors. In short he had nothing for which to be ashamed. Even his ptb speed was the same as his fellow forwards, Carrigan, Haas, Lodge, TPJ etc. I just don't get the hate[emoji848] Surely it cannot be the single penalty

No it’s the 1% plays that he doesn’t do and the lazy efforts

No, it's you're as in you are shitting me. No ,I'm not shitting you. The Broncos fowards, almost to a man beat the Newcastle forwards in ptb speed which is not something you can achieve without being better at the wrestle. Our forwards WERE slowing their ptb speed down, the facts don't lie. Of course I'm only going on what NRL stats provided but we had better ptb speeds across our forwards. I am not making it up.

Mmmm, sorry but that's not really good enough. That's a throwaway explanation and contains no evidence. If you could show us the 'lazy efforts' and 1%ers he's not doing it might help but I suspect you'd look for them and not find much of any significance. I think you've just decided he's shit without evidence but I'll readily admit I'm wrong if you provide some evidence. He's not a problem.

Actually relieved Carrigan isn't in the team this week, he gives away far too many dumb penalties and has too many errors in his game. Willing him into the captaincy was a massive **** up.

Downside is the continued inclusion of Ofahengaue, the softest man in the game, and continuation of Lodge, who has a slow man with no lateral movement, the new rules and speed of the game have essentially sapped him of any effectiveness.

really?

he has given away a grand total of 3 penalties this year from 6 games

I think your thinking of Flegler then yes.

Pfft righto I’ll get back to you then when I have time

You know I wouldn't be surprised if the young guys are struggling with the right version of aggression that is required.

They dont go hard enough and they're slammed by the fans and also they get run over by the opposition.

They go too hard and they concede penalties and are put on report.

Not sure what the answer is there.

Put Kennedy in the side. The bloke hasn’t done anything wrong, actually aims up yet fucking misses out.
I agree mate. Doesn't offer a too much in attack but he's really good defensively and our defence is the first out of many problems that needs to be addressed.
