The Dragons will really miss Tyson Frizell if he is suspended, outside of Merrin he is their best forward and brings some good aggression to their pack.

This is Milford's game. we use him as a support player and he will burn them for pace. Outside inside plays, thaiday passing at the line with him trailing. . Their defense is great when scrambling. We have to make them over scramble for most of the game, then force them to fail by trying to scramble on milford and copley.

I want to see more penalties for incorrect play the ball. I'm getting sick of players just tunnelballing it through their legs and not even putting a foot on the ball.

So true, and the referrees only warned the Broncos players: "Corey, get your foot to it"

There were a few in the dying minutes where RTS and SKD dead set passed the ball through their legs to Friend.

Another 1-12 win for us, the Dragons were good yesterday but Canterbury were deadset awful.

Wallace is also looking at a week on the sidelines for his chicken wing.

Frizzell is their forward leader so I am going out on a limb and saying if we are not flat after the big game against the Roosters then I reckon we will do them 13+ with them unable to sustain the defense after halftime

Has anyone got video of the Wallace chicken wing. I couldnt see anything dangerous in that tackle. The idiot commentator reckoned he had 2 goes.

I'm guessing if Wallace misses the game and Blair returns we'll just shift Thaiday back to the bench role in place of Wallace and keep the rest of the team the same.

If Blair isn't ready, I guess we'll see Ofahengaue / Molo

Bennett doesn't have a great record against his former clubs. I think the first time the Broncos played against Dragons with Bennett as coach the Dragons won, but that was the only win. Then I don't think Bennett had much success at the Knights against either the Broncos or Dragons.

THE Broncos’ hopes of having captain Justin Hodges fit for Friday’s NRL clash with the Dragons look good after the veteran completed training today.Hodges has been sidelined for a fortnight with a hamstring injury but took part in the full session at Red Hill.
Five clubs in hunt for Myles
Injured prop Adam Blair also completed some light duties and could be a chance to come back from a corked thigh but fullback back Jordan Kahu remains in doubt with his own hamstring problem.
The Broncos’ major off-season signing, Darius Boyd, spent time towards the end of the session fielding bombs and there is still some chance he will be back early from his achilles injury.

Some good news all round re Hodgo and Boyd.

We really missed Kahu and Hodges on Friday night, but I'm confident we can still come up with a win against the Dragons without them.

Given the impact Thaiday had on the Roosters right from the beginning, in my book he has to start.

All our forwards need to take a leaf out of his (new) book. One-on-one tackles where, using the simple and correct technique, you drive a big forward backwards and onto his butt are such a confidence boost to our defence and an embarrassment to the attack. It puts the whole team on the front foot. The Dragons forwards need to be sat on their arses right from the word go.
