As it stands, every time Hunt kicks, the defence is millimetres away from him.

He could stand deeper, but I feel like he's being forced to fix everything wrong with the side as it is, like covering up for Gillett's and Hodges poor defence half a dozen times a game.

Agreed. That's why we need Granville. Granville knows how to pass off the ground. Watching the Knights game, he is light years quicker than McCullough.

Well, that's really the one and only area McCullough lacks in, and the main reason I'm still not convinced about him yet. I don't think Granville offers enough to completely displace him though.

It's certainly been a tactic this year by some teams. But with our superior fitness we want to keep the ball in play. Turn their big lugs around, aim to get to tackle 3 or 4 before their forwards get on-side.

We need to keep turning them around....

Hunt ... and also, if only, Macca and Barba, and Hof... no, not him ... aim for the corners, but the key is chasers, the whole bloody team, to cut down his space, someone ready to cover defend the sideline, and others to block the middle.

Long punts, giving Inglis 20 metres of free space is asking for trouble, as much as 7 tackle freebies.
