What's the money that thaiday tackles inglis in a dicey looking lifting tackle and becomes the first player sent off and because of his bad record at the judiciary gets rubbed out for 9 weeks (or till the end of origin whichever takes longer). And takes matais weeks he should've got for good measure.

I love that the bookies have put us as big underdogs for this match. Something always makes me feel uneasy when the broncs go in as favourites. If our forwards can maintain their usual work rate and our back line fires for the full 80 for a change we will be a huge chance to pip the bunnies this week IMO.

I cannot see any possible reason in the solar system why we would go in as favourites against Souths.

However, I agree that this game is winnable, but then, isn't every game.

To keep Inglis quiet is to make sure he gets as little ball as possible, which means shutting down Sutton and Reynolds.

I reckon our pack is as effective as theirs ... if they keep up the discipline for 80 minutes

The other critical thing is our kicking game, especially kick-chase. Give them room and we will be dismantled

Give GI room and we're fucked.....

Still, I'm quietly confident. We're good enough to beat them if things click for us.

Interesting to see how Hodges will go against Goodwin/Champion (not sure which one is Hodges side). They did a great job keeping Lyon and Matai reasonably quiet last week.

Should be a great game.....Broncs by 8+

It's odd. When the Broncos go in to a game they're expected to win, they inevitably put in a half arsed effort and scrape in with a win (see Tigers game for great example). When they play a team they're not expected to beat, they usually put in an admirable performance (see Storm game).

I expect something like that against Souths, but I expect our defence will be stronger early in the game than it was against the salary cap cheating wrestlemania Victards.
