It shows how low our capable second-row stocks are. We have players that can play there, but none inspire confidence in defence like Riki and Capewell do.

It was a while ago now, but remember when we let Ben Te'o walk at his peak because we had Glenn and Gillett?
I might be bias but Gillo was one of the best second rowers of his generation. It was the right call imo

And we had TPJ and Fifita too. But instead our recruitment were dumbasses and focused on paying overs and extended Offa and Lodge first. Would love to him one of them for us now

Gillo was a gun though.. his younger days was great before he matured when he was older. Was a great offloader and crazy skills. Still remember his chip n chase against the Warriors.

It's not too late to sign Glenn for the rest of the year as depth as long as we do it before June 30

Oh for sure. Our recent rapid decline has as much to do with Gillett's injury retirement as much as anything else IMO. Easily the best defensive back-rower in the game and never, ever gave up.

I forgot to add Thaiday to that list too. Parker was lock so we had Glenn, Gillett, Thaiday and Te'o vying for the back row. We couldn't start them all so let Te'o walk ( who played a big part in South's premiership) and moved Thaiday to prop.

I'm hoping Capewell is going to be our new Gillett, but the drop in talent after him and Riki is pretty big.

If Kev does this, will be problems in playing squad. Anecdotes from various interviews have highlighted the squad wants consistency.
So do we.

We had the wood on the Bunnies for a few years there, after the initial round one loss in 2015 the Rabbits didn't beat the Broncos again until 2019. Wayne had the formula to beat them and hopefully Kevvie does too.

Hold the ball they don’t look like there a fit team

Gordie may have his issues post career but while he was with us man was he brilliant. He just never stopped competing.

Also something else that gave me a laugh was Ikin copping a bump from Owen Cragey on the "Tallis on the inside" play, got hammered haha.

Capewell is apparently out this week because he hurt his neck drying himself with a towel.

I think it's bullshit, but really bizarre if true.

We are paying $5.50 to win 1-12

no respect from bookies, particularly with the way Souths are playing.

I did laugh at the tip from the SMH. they're tipping the Rabbitohs by 8. one of the reasons was that Souths completed well against a 12-man Manly.

Souths got bloody lucky against a 12 man Manly ... and it should be a reason to tip against them, lol

Why are the broncos at such long odds? Is Reynolds ok?
