Kemp in 08 would have been faster over 100m, though perhaps not over 30-40m. Much like Ben (or most other speedy small players) Marmin's acceleration is phenomenal but his top speed is kind of mid-tier. Not a huge issue as acceleration is much more useful, especially if you know how to use it. In Barba's second try in that video he gets run down by the other winger but still manages to score because he slows down and re-accelerates to re-open a gap.

Does that mean if Hoffman was playing for Norths in RLL2 he would be a bugged player and in that instance the try wouldn't have been scored?

Worst bit is that tackle in defence and kick in attack is the same button. The second you pick up a drop ball or take an intercept you've pressed X committing to the tackle first but instead have picked it up and kicked it away before you can stop it happening

Absolutely. Also, Trying to pass to first receiver then for some inexplicable reason, the ball gets passed into orbit then straight over the touchline from the other side of the field.

how did he go?
Was the type of game that would keep him awake at night. Sunny Coast up 2-0 at ht and Jets won in the second half 10-2. One try scored in the whole game.
Not a great night o be a winger.
Kicked two penalty goals and a conversion.
