Matthew Johns said on Triple M on Sunday that there were rumours doing the rounds that Bennett's relationship with Tinkler has become "strained to say the least."

Full-back Darius Boyd is reportedly owed upwards of $200,000 on failed third party deals and he is also believed to be one of the players not paid last week.

The Queenslander has been noticeably poor this season, with another Knights great Matthew Johns believing that the payment crisis has something to do with Boyd's form.

I hope the Lurker is spot on although his prediction of Slothys demise at seasons end is a result too late coming. We need to save this season and with the on field staff we have we could still push for a top four spot. At 50/50 we are well positioned and with just a small tweak to the side we would be in the winners circle. If Walters came in and taught his style to Hunt and ( insert preference here but not Hoggman ) we would be close to perfect. My choice would be to drop Reed for a few weeks and put the damaging Mills in at centre who has been going well for Redcliffe and scoring tries.

Kevvie was an outstanding five eighth and I'm sure with his skills he could fix that area which is sorely lacking. Hannant would be first picked amongst the forwards and Kennedy would be in Intrust playing unchanged, 80 minutes a week in the frontrow until he shows he wants a first grade spot back.

Why should Kennedy play for 80 minutes at the expense of Griffin and Lingeoodock who have been outstanding?

It would certainly make sense, we'll probably be able to tell when we see how he plays for QLD, if he has a blinder then it's more than likely money related lack of form.

To run for 200 odd metres in a game like that like is a top effort. So yeah Boyd played pretty well tonight.

Boyd was above average for sure, he was very involved so I would give him an A for effort, didn't do anything particularly good but was going out of his way to make runs and help the team forward.

Kennedy's form or lack thereof is more important than a couple of lower grade sluggers and as a consequence I'd like to see him play 80 minutes just like they did in the old days. In recent years Steve Price used to play 70 minutes or more and that was in the faster more demanding first grade. Also Kennedys playing 80 would have no impact on the other two with one starting and the other relieving then same again second half.

As I wrote, Mills has been scoring tries, a double on two occasions from memory with the most recent double being on May 11 th. He hasn't been injured until this last weekend where he missed a match. He is named for the upcoming weekend.

I thought Kennedy may have got bigger minutes for the Jets but I guess if he was playing that well he may have got more. I read that he only got about 45 minutes. You are right though, the Jets other props do need to come first for the Jets Coach.
