Sam Kasiano Incident

6 weeks iirc? Or 9?
Slater got 7 weeks.

Cam Smith got off last year for kicking Isaac Luke in the face multiple times.

He might not have been aiming for Parker's head, but that's the risk you take when you lash out. The lashing out was obviously deliberate. If his apology was genuine, he wouldn't say "I didn't mean to". He should say "I shouldn't have done that". But that would require integrity. The best thing he can do now is take whatever judgement the judiciary throw at him with no fighting the charge.

The referees made the wrong call, including the video ref. Throughout the entire set the trainer was calling out for assistance, and the video ref had looked at it and seen the incident well before the end of our set. He could have tipped off the on-field refs at any time, and even if the refs wanted to play advantage to the Broncos, they still had time to call it the moment Jackson was tackled. Technically if they blow the whistle before the ball is played, they can still act on it, so there is absolutely no reason why it shouldn't have been a penalty.

The Judiciary is a joke. He'll get two weeks.

Even Bennett was pissed off with it and when he gets annoyed, you know its bad. But the muts are a protected specieis when it comes to the judiciary so I'm not expecting anything from this on their front even though he should be wiped for the season. Parker was well in his rights to not accept that false apology at full time. It was deliberate and anyone with half a clue could see this.

If he wasn't aiming for his face, what was he expecting to hit? Did he think Parker was holding him with his feet and thought he'd kick him in the leg and attempt a good old fashion Josh Reynolds-like trip? I don't get it.

I think it was deliberate and deserved 10 in the bin or a send off even. In saying that i don't doubt Kasiano regretted it and was remorceful, things happen in the heat of the moment, but that obviously doesn't make it right.

They are some nasty cuts on Coreys face, if they were 10cm higher he could have lost an eye. Thats what makes this so serious in my opinion.

I don't really remember any past cases with other players that have been discussed above but i think they definitely need to make an example of Kasiano here. However i expect him to only get 1 or 2 weeks max because the system is a joke.

Also on another note did anyone else notice Thaiday blow up at the ref for not blowing a penalty for getting hit with a very similar tackle that got him suspended the other week. I haven't seen a replay but I would be filthy if I was Sammy too.

If Kasiano does not get several weeks the MRC should clear out their desks.
Just a typical Bully, as was shown in his lack of ticker in the last set of six.
In fact the BB have shown the rest of the comp how to deal with him, especially Ben Hunt after his try.

If anything, the inept MRC will probably give him a token Grade One, with a guilty plea and free to play.

I don't think it will be too hard to 'take' 0 weeks with an early guilty plea.

Showed what he is made of for sure. Just a fat **** coward with no ticker. He bought on that world of hurt the Broncos put onto his teammates and all he did was hide. Not one hit-up. Completely sums the coward up. If he had any balls he would have been taking every second hit-up from that point.

The guy is a cat. A big, fat, cowardly cat.

Catiano.

Grade two charge. Will miss two weeks with an early guilty plea. Just in time for the finals.

There was a replay from the touchline which showed Kasiano get up and start running back towards the action. He does the little glance at the ref to his right which confirmed he did it on purpose.

Absolute joke. I'm furious. If Slater was 7 weeks, Kasiano is just as bad.

The fact that Kasiano chickened out in the last few minutes is probably more of a problem for the Bulldogs than any punishment he receives. Hasler can moan about completion rates all he likes but most of those errors happened because his huge, bully boy pack were outmuscled and outplayed for 77 minutes. That can happen and on its own isn't a disaster but in the last 3 minutes when the Broncos went postal on them the Bulldogs looked genuinely frightened. Kasiano hiding from the fallout of his own action must have his teammates worried. As we know from the last few months having confidence in each other is crucial.

Never going to happen.

After Kasiano getting 2 weeks (assuming he takes the plea, which he should because it's a gift) the victim mentality over at the Kennel will go into overdrive

Fucking knew it. 2 weeks. If the finals were in a months time he'd get 4 weeks. The NRL is like clockwork and no one seems to want to stop the rot.
