I would think because the Dally's are individual awards

They are, but surely having a team of good players helps you look better also. Would Slater really be as good as he is if Cronk didn't do pin point kicks to him, Smith didn't control the ruck so much etc.

It's harder for Melbourne players to get it anyway because they're competing for points with other great players in their team.

Yeah, I did think about that, but I was (although not quite clear) also refering to Dally M position awards ie. Cronk winning halfback of the year, Inglis centre of the year etc. When it came to these, I'd much rather have good players around me. Inglis would be useless if he wasn't gettign good service from Smith and Cronk etc.

Anyway, probably the wrong thread for it .....

that would also depend on how many points Luke took for the Cowboys match, because that table came before Luke had played.

Yes, I believe the rule is you lose 3 Dally M points for every week you are suspended. However, as Foordy says, if he got 3 for the Cowboys game then the ladder won't change.
