Can we just go 1 day without hating on our own players after a win...
Not me starting like a dozen threads titled, 'We need to talk about _____’ and then it's just like...
Can we just go 1 day without hating on our own players after a win...
As I said, I don’t believe he wants to improve based on what people involved with the club have told me. He thinks he’s there already, he thinks the blokes coaching him can’t coach and he’s reached the only goal he’s ever had.
Gee, if some of your bosses were as harsh on you as some of you are on our players, you got to wonder where you'd be in life
The “catch”… that was fucked. And giving up on that catch was unforgivable. He made a lot of metres because we were coming out of our own half a lot.
I didn't think Selwyn had that bad of a game actually, should have scored yes but I think Nicholls deserves a bit of credit there. If we are judging him on that? I don't think that's fair.
I said this in another thread .. before I saw this one. This bloke sucks. He’s fat, dumb and lazy. He will be up there with the Dave Taylor’s, TPJ’s and Anthony Milford’s as the biggest waste of talent this sport has seen. So disappointed in him.
So getting knocked out caused him to go a podcast and rag on his coach and admit that he quit on the team? With the amount of concussions these days it’s going to be a busy time for obscure podcasters.I said this in another thread .. before I saw this one.
"Compare both the man, and his mannerisms, and the player before and after he was knocked out in Origin. I think that's where the answer lays."
Please think about it .. and get back to me with your thoughts.
I don’t care about his stats, I don’t want him at this club. I didn’t want him hear the second that shit about the podcast came out. The little shit couldn’t even do a sincere apology.I suppose Cobbo needs to take:
36 runs for 340m
80 post contact metres
12 tackle breaks
And 2 tries
Per match to make SOME people happy.
I’m not scapegoating him or blaming him for anything, I don’t want him in the team and to be there after what he has done he should be damn near perfect. He isn’t.Look like it's official ... BHQ 2023 scapegoat is Selwyn Cobbo.
Well, there is of course, old reliable Billy Walters to fall back on, but you always need someone more talented and more high profile to lay the blame on.
It is unusual though, for BHQ to name the scapegoat while we're on an unexpected, undefeated winning streak. Usually people wait until we've lost a few games
Getting concussed always affects people differently. Yes, it can absolutely make one lose some of their inhibitions, and absolutely be the cause of them saying things they never would have prior to a concussion. Once you introduce alcohol into the scenario .. things can very quickly turn into a total train wreck. I believe that Selwyn was taken advantage of, and basically just used for a very cheap headline that day. In any case, I'd believe that before I would believe that all of a sudden Cobbo simply woke up one day and just stopped giving a ****.So getting knocked out caused him to go a podcast and rag on his coach and admit that he quit on the team? With the amount of concussions these days it’s going to be a busy time for obscure podcasters.
