OK, people will interpret what is written as it is, not as an exercise in mind reading, so the onus is on you to clarify it.
Your comments are otherwise directed at, and subject to anyone who reads and comments in the thread, especially when they are as generic as the "Anti Hunt brigade", or "Hunt's haters".

I have been in the 'he should stay' camp but if the contract is what I've read it is I think he should go for it.

Hopefully not ... especially as that will leave us without a halfback.

Jack Bird and Daniel Mortimer (Sharks)

Shaun Johnson (Warriors)
Ray Thompson (Cowboys)
Jeff Robson (Eels)
Josh McCrone and Gareth Widdop(Dragons)
Mitch Cornish, Mitchell Pearce (Roosters)
Luke Brooks and Mitchell Moses (Tigers)

I may have missed someone, but they would be a rookie anyway

IMO the only one of those players that we should even be looking at to replace Hunt should he leave for the Dragons is Shaun Johnson

Ata Hingano would be my pick to sign if Humt does leave.
 
We just want someone who kicks alright, so we will sign Quade Cooper and everyone will be happy.
 
I'll be unhappy if Hunt leaves, not because I rate him as a superstar, but simply because I don't see anybody available that's any better
