SOO Teams 2010

he is, but he wont be used there in origin when they have soward, anasta, pearce, etc. they are players that can only play in the halves, so theyre either in the halves spots or theyre not in the team. Carney however has shown that he is competent at fullback but can also add the playmaking abilities that come with him being a natural halfback/five-eighth.

ninja delete hey flutterby? [icon_lol1.

I also saw it before she deleted it!

Yeah posted it and then thought maybe it could be seen as baiting to say I thought Carney was a half, so delted myself

FWIW, I don't think NSW will select Carney this year. As good as his form is, I think NSW will put Hayne at FB and won't select someone playing 1 for his club in their halves

i reckon he might get a bench spot, perhaps taking gidley's spot

Michael Luck offers SFA in attack compared to Stagg. Stagg is awesome he is a machine he will tackle all night for the maroons much like Dallas did. I'd have Stagg in the 13 for sure. Harrison in the 12 or on the bench IMO.

Luck is a stronger defender than Stagg particularly one on one, Luck if you watch a bit of the Warriors doesn't run much because he passes heaps. He spends alot of time as a second or third receiver in wide passing moves, he can also offload which is another thing Stagg basically doesn't do.

Stagg can offload, he can even pull of a draw and pass thanks to his days in the 6 for the Broncos LOL!!

You obviously watch other teams play, unlike beads who just said that stagg will tackle all night... when comparing Luck, who is also a tackle machine lol. Luck makes just as many tackles as stagg, but more of his are first man in, whereas stagg makes a lot of fiztgibbon / hindmarsh flop tackles. I dont think we will miss much defence wise in choosing either, but I think Luck is a more solid and tough player.

Looks like JT has stuffed his shoulder, could be a Lockyer/Cronk combo.

On a good note Tuqiri is carving. GI and Lote to carve up on the left

Tuqiri needs to be there IMO he is just so good.

Yeah that was a real worry, lets hope Neil Henry gives Thursto plenty of time to recover and its not that serious [icon_pray.

JT gone for the season... Foxsports is your friend.... OHNOES

Holy crap. What a massive blow.

Cronk is pretty much guaranteed halfback now.

Plenty of weeks before origin 1, who knows what could happen to him

Haha, we could be calling on Sandow, Smith or even Barba!

NRL.com says only maybe a month. Foxsports looks to be jumping the gun
