yeah that plus the fact he's a pretty tough customer nowadays ... certainly a lot tougher than the average punter gives him credit for.

We're going to get the best of the batting conditions imo, or at least we certainly won't get the worst of the conditions which should be day 4 / 5 ... will be huge if we can bat ourselves to a position where we basically can't lose - ie 450+ ... really enables a team to go on the attack from there

Which I think he should and especially if Johnno or Patto or Harro or Lyno are on fire. SA can crumble if given a sniff, if not they are good at batting out a draw. We need to bat all or most of today and 550 should be the very gettable target. We need to tire them all out as much as possible and go at them with half an hour to an hour tonight.
