true, the south africans are about as conservative as it gets ... they always have been .. it's a major reason why they never win the big trophies imo .. They needed 19 runs off 5 overs with three wickets in hand in a test against India just before or after christmas last year and they decided that was too big a risk and blocked it out ... They were chasing about 415 in the final innings and were on the verge of one hell of a win ... incredible
 
what a brilliant dismissal that is ... This team is doing some really clever stuff in the field .. their planning is outstanding
 
Faf, Amla and AB are the deciding factors between winning or drawing this match.
 
wish Dave Warner would show some dignity and class ... mouthing off to a batsman who's just been dismissed is weak as water imo ... and calling the best team in the world "lazy" is like poking a wounded bear ..

just keep a lid on it until the series is over !
 
I am not a huge fan of the send off. Warner wasn't the only one but he is usually the main culprit. He is who he is so I think we will continue to see it. Other teams always do it as well.

That was a fearful blow to the ear. Helmets safe you a depressed fracture but spread the bruise over a large area. That side of his head won't be able to touch a pillow for a few days

Superb all-round performance and a completely dominant win, It was just another one of those tests were everything goes right for you I though we were outstanding in every facet of the game. Really like the desperation the guys show in the field. Very surprised to win by 281 runs I thought South Africa would be a lot more competitive and I was expecting a tight test.
