Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Oh I don't like Melbourne at all. I just see quality in a fair chunk of their squad, I hope we beat them by 50 and that everything you say comes true and that I look like I know nothing. I also hate band wagoners and their are always plenty around come this time of year.

I personally kind of agree on all of those ddd, except for Cam Smith. He's still one of the best players in the world. One of the best organisers, one of the best defenders and probably the best kicker out of dummy half.

If I were honest, it was a bit wishful about Smithy - he is a big game player and will cause problems for us, Macca better have the game of his life - and if he does, gets to look forward to playing against Ennis

Let's hope the Storm players play like they did in Origin 3. Smith and Slater in particular. (not so much Inglis [icon_lol1. )

Shame the music's gone - i must have watched that vid 50 times, never gets old

Smith will chip for Slater all night close to the line and move the play to Inglis.

That's our main danger.

Fact is, if you look through the Storm's pack, the only one who you would consider putting in the Broncos' pack is Cameron Smith. The rest of them are pretty much nuffies.

Hoffman used to scare me, but seeing the way we've shut down the likes of Laffranchi, Creagh, O'Donnell, and for the most part Pritchard in our run into this game he holds no fears for me.

If our forwards muscle up against the storms pack like we did against the dragons we should be sweet IMO.

Broncos team to play Melbourne at Etihad Stadium on saturday night:
1. Karmichael Hunt
2. Antonio Winterstein
5. Israel Folau
4. Justin Hodges
3. Jharal Yow Yeh
6. Darren Lockyer (c)
7. Alex Glenn
8. Nick Kenny
9. Andrew McCullough
10. David Taylor
11. Ashton Sims
12. Sam Thaiday
13. Corey Parker
Reserves:
14. Lagi Setu
15. Tonie Carroll
16. Ben Te'o
17. Joel Clinton

Alex Glenn it is then... for now

Maybe they won't announce Ben Hunt until game night so there isn't any extra pressure from the media!

Get the flame on but good selection IMO.

The game is going to be a physical game and having an extra back rower will be a better option than a light weight rookie.

Plus now the U20s will be undisturbed.

Seriously, who cares about the U20s? That's a poor excuse not to use one of their players IMO.

subsbligh: I will wear one of Nashy's mum's dresses if Glenn actually plays halfback on Saturday night.

now i hope Glenn does play at half.

I can still see Hunt getting the call up.

PJ Marsh is proberly crying right now poor bloke

Marsh's career with the Broncos is long over IMO.

Then who do you think will?

If you're implying that Ben Hunt will play there then that will surely be found out in the next day or two at training.

If your'e saying Lockyer will play first receiver but wear 6 then I think you're right
