This is all fine by me as the hype around this game will only benefit whoever wins our match as tonight's winner will feel they have already won.

Exactly what I said this morning. I know it's a huge deal that they've sold 70,000 tickets, 2 Sydney sides, one from wooden spoon spot last year and another from second last only a couple of months ago etc etc. but I don't think the media is doing either side any favours by carrying on the way they are.

I agree with you on all points mrslong, it turns my stomach too. But I will say it's great to see so much hype and interest in our code in Sydney. It's good for the game.

of course, but to have commentators suggesting it's bigger than a grand final...it's just a bit over the top.

Good to see a sell out crowd for a prelim final, but it should be the norm rather than the exception.
