INJURED

LATEST JUDICIARY

It means the nrl get to grandstand and make out they are tough on ‘foul play’ after only fining JWH and missing NAS.

Happens everytime, the nrl **** up so they crack down on someone to compensate for it.

I say we fight it and if, as expected, we lose paddy gets an extra week off to freshen up for the finals. Penrith have done just this with both their halves.

It means he's screwed and very likely will be out until the finals.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but this would be his first offence, so it should be max 2 games if he makes an early plea, which I'm sure he will.

It looks like a Grade 3 dangerous contact to me (2 weeks with early guilty plea), but maybe it's only Grade 2, in which case just one match out:

The fact he's going straight to the judiciary makes gradings irrelevant. They can give him whatever they want.

That's why they've referred it to the judiciary. It's no worse than what Fuimaono did who swings his entire body-weight behind Dunster's legs to bring him to ground and injured him. However, since Fuimaono's record was poor enough to receive 5 weeks on the sideline they went with the Grade 3.

2 weeks was going to cause too much of an uproar so he'll be gone for at least 4, most likely 6.

Ahh yes the optics... an approach that could never be manipulated and is easily the most appropriate way to be remain impartial

They referred him straight to judiciary because Hastings broke his leg. Carrigan will likely get suspended for the rest of regular season.

Clumsy....and as mentioned, Hastings gone for the season.

Pat has to pay. Semi-finals are his next time chance to run on the field.

Ruins an otherwise brilliant season from him......
