The Ashes 2010-2011

This better not be another all out for 220 day.

I'd love it if we could just, for once, head into to stumps with a reasonable amount of wickets in hand.

Fark's sake...

3 for now.

And Huss is due to fail.

When is this top/middle order going to do something, anything?

We **** ing suck, seriously Pointless, just quit mate, just quit.

Thankfully the Pomgolians have now used up all their referrals. There's likely to be shyteloads more close calls if this keeps up (which it has all series really).

Also, saw this on Cricinfo: "Since the end of the 1st Test, Huss has come in (3rd drop) on 2, 98, 28, 38 and 37".

That's just not friggen good enough and it's a huge credit to Huss that's he's been able to almost single-handedly keep us in this series from those positions.

Unfortunately he's finally had a failure and now we're up shit creek. Not his fault, it's the top order yet again.

Clarke and Smith better show some balls now.

Great conditions for bowling.. Need clarke and smith to show some ticker and bat bat bat

Even in great bowling conditions, you can't be tumbled out for 150-odd and expect that the opposition will just roll over in similar fashion. Rarely happens. As always, we'll need at least 250 from here. Gotta give the bowlers something to work with from the get go.

We'll make less than 100 here, and just like the last Ashes series, it comes down to batting collapses.

8 for fucking 77.

Unbelievable.

If I was Ponting, I'd even declare right now. These conditions are absolutely lethal and the dirty Poms wouldn't fare any better than we have.

If/when we lose this test the ACB need to look towards the future. The Ashes will be retained by England, and we should take the opportunity to blood some new guys.

Klinger, Cosgrove, Ferguson etc. Reward state form, rather than persist with what isn't working. Ponting is no longer a number 3. Drop him to 5 or 6 and inject some new blood above him.

Give Clark and Hughes some time in state competition to rediscover form - if any at all. I'd even support the return of Brad Hodge right now. Massively talented batsmen that suffers because of ACB stubbornness.

Any new batsmen who gets his chance in the post-Ashes clean out will have a fine opportunity to get off to a decent start - don't we have the Bangers after the Poms?

98 all out.

Top order fail for millionth Test in a row

If the aussies can bowl well we can roll the poms on this pitch. Poor batting by our boys though. Problem on the batting is that there really is no other options around the country.
