They seem to get it their head , this guys going close , and then clock off. Personally it think the checking takes away from the moment.

I'm glad Australia won. Can't understand England's poor form. I wonder if it's because the two series are back to back. One side doesn't really have time to savour the series win and the losing side is really fired up as they have an immediate shot at redemption.

Tim Bresnan is an absolute must if he is fit for the third test. They need Tremlett as well. Despite not making much of an impact so far, I'd still persist with Swann but rest Anderson.

Why? England seem to have the mental strength and tenacity of a rubber band that's been left out in the sun for a month. The media didn't stop bagging them before this last test (one the should have won and at the very least drawn) and they couldn't take it, so why change?

England strolled in like a bunch of pompous arseholes expecting us to pull our cheeks apart and ask them to go harder... They deserve everything they get

Fair point. it seem that they had written him off as a one pitch pony after his performances in England.

I just don't want the poms to rebound and make us look silly. I think it's too early to write them off completely.

Its part of the English mentality. When any of their sporting teams win anything prestigious they think all the work is done and they can just sit back and savor success. Just look at their Rugby Union team when they won the 2003 World Cup what have those posers done ever since?
