Yep and that's my point. You look at Hughes FC record, there is no doubt he is good enough to be a high quality Test bat but the powers that be in CA have screwed his mind over.

He's been given ample chances and can't evolve his game and develop as a batsman.

You named Burns as one of the ones coming through yourself. Yes he hasn't had a good run of late but he has too much talent for him not to come good . Lynn on the other hand has been completely injury related, his record speaks for itself.
