One successful summer at home proves we were good for one season at home. No doubt the confidence gained will go a long way but we didn't have much to beat in reality. The poms were 'shite' as my pommie workmate says. I congratulate the team and Lehman and associated staff on a great series and can only hope we continue to improve. This series will hopefully serve as a launching pad. I believe we are still weak in a few areas and we would have struggled a bit against a more determined side.

We need to be better in our opening partnerships and our bowling while good needs to be great. Johnson's great series was our backbone and his form needs to continue if we are to regain no1 status. Still, I'm happy as a pig in shit to have belted the Poms. Good luck boys over the next 6 months.

The big tick in Doolan's case is his 160 against Morkel and Steyne. They're getting him ready if they need him in SA.

Agreed. I think most of us would think it's a good decision. While Doolan hasn't set the world on fire this season, I get the feeling he's the kind of guy who can step it up in the big occasions.

I'm not a big fan of cricket, but I've been taking more of an interest lately. I'm starting to remember why I try to avoid major sporting events featuring Australian teams.

The arrogance is absolutely astounding. They seem to forget what happened in England recently too. I hope England flog them in the 5th, just to bring them back to Earth.

Australian sports fans have got to be the most arrogant on the planet. It's fucking pathetic.
