That picture has been photoshopped....yeh?
I don;t think I've ever seen two more different facial expressions in the same scene....

I can see the likes of Hunt, Milford, Wallace, Lodge, Macca all ending up at the Dolphins, and if so, it'll turn into a retirement home. Then once Wayne is off contract he will retire and the place will be left a shambles.
The only decent signing I can see them making in 2022 is Ponga. I think if the Knights have the year (spoonish) that many are predicting for this season, the coin will be too good for Ponga to say no to.
If not, I 100% hope Isaako is their FB. For once I won't cringe watching him at FB.
Exactly. Every club has old boys who hang around after retirement and keep egos and young guys in check and provide guidance through lives experiences. They need a starting base and like i said before, you can only sign players generally who are off contract and if they happen to be older guys then thats what you do. All the blokes you mentioned would be pretty decent signings for them tbf but i bet they only sign 2 of that group, possibly 3 at a push. You look at who Wayne has got in, and they come from winning cultures mainly. I think thats what he's hoping to establish early on there as @theshed said. Its culture, its setting standards for the rest of the squad.
Ive heard he is interested in Jarrod Wallace and Lodge too but surely they must be looking to sign some outside backs now and spine players

Bellamy just struck back by re-signing one of their rookies on a 5 year 2.5 mill deal. Take that NRL
If Milford ends up at the Dolphins he could learn a lot from Shane Perry, like what it feels like to win a premiership. Perhaps he could even get one of these signedThe GOAT Shane Perry

Not for the priceJesse Bromwich would have been perfect for us.
Spend it on who? The spine isn’t going to be sorted for a few years and it’s pretty clear Kev is banking on the young guys. Not for the price
We need to stop overpaying on forwards and start paying money for the spine
You mean premiership winner Kurt Capewell? What would he know about winning..Spend it on who? The spine isn’t going to be sorted for a few years and it’s pretty clear Kev is banking on the young guys.
Meanwhile, we still don’t have a forward leader and someone that can teach our young forwards what it takes to be a winner. It isn’t going to be Haas, it isn’t going to be Capewell and it isn’t going to be James.
A pretty good way to instilling a winning culture is to bring in winners.
