John Cartwright & Josh Hannay will be joining Walters as assistant coaches - Terry Matterson & Neil Henry both also being sought out.

Hopefully this means guys like Kurt Richards will be moved on

They’re great mates from the 90 Roo Tour. Nothing cements your mate ship like being maced together. Brisbane boys loved the Penrith guys.

Also boys and girls, can I just get in early with this: When we inevitably come out and get reamed in Round 1 next year, don't automatically hit the panic button. We have a long road ahead of us before we are anything close to competitive again.

I really hope he does well, but sadly for him I see it all ending in tears. I just dont think he is a good head coach. Our issue is after the Seibold stuff up, we pretty were only left with Walters as our only real option.

If Kevvie doesn't get the right assistants this is going to end in tears. Walters can have success if he coaches like Meninga, and by that style I mean leave 99% of the coaching to the assistants, and he just deals with the players on a personal level.

Kevins #1 priority is seeing the Broncos back into the winners circle and he doesnt need the ego horseshit that certain other coaches need.

His coaching history. The things he has said. There is a reason he has always been denied when going for all those other jobs.

The only real hands on work he should be doing is with the halves.
