Titans must win for the sake of a 'national' competition

Difference between being a Queensland team and a Queensland BASED team

^^^ This.

Do people really think that in the 1992-93 Grand Finals that South Sydney fans supported the Dragons against us? No. They either went for the Broncos because they hate the Dragons, or they just didn't give a shit either way and hoped both teams were struck by lightning.

Any Broncos fan who gets behind the Titans is just a spineless bandwagoner.

Just as I was when I got behind the Warriors and Raiders. I am now on no bandwagon :P

Nothing wrong with being a bandwagoner when your team drops out. It is those evil individuals that get behind another team when their team is playing badly that need to be named and shamed. People who have conversations like this "I am a Broncos fan, but they are playing like crap at the moment so I hope the Warriors beat them" [icon_thumbs_do [icon_shru

I hope the Titans win and the Roosters don't win. But I won't cry or feel depressed if the reverse happens, (although it certainly will rankle if the Roosters win) and I won't go to the games, but I'll watch them if I'm home.

I find it difficult to watch a game if I don't have a team to go for. Or at least if there isn't 1 team playing that I absolutely hate.

Fair enough - but if you ever spent any time in the company of Toidans fans, I think you'd feel just as strongly anti them as you do the Dragons and Roosters because of their fans.
I dunno - the sheer number of dragons fans in particular I think would make it far, far more annoying than the titans fans could ever hope to be.

Not if you live on the Gold Coast like me... [icon_non
But I still hate the dragqueens and chooks more! [icon_shru

As surely as the sun rises each day, I could always count on the Dragons choking. I don't know if I could get used to a world where they actually win. I don't think I'd like it to be honest with you.
It'd be like Australia losing the Ashes or the Broncos not making the finals...oh...wait...

What can I say Penny... I hate the others even more! [icon_shru
I haven't been taking too much flak from them since we convincingly beat them twice this season with a team of kids... :P
But I'm sure [icon_pray. the Tigers will solve our problem. icon_thumbs_u

I reeeeeeally hope someone does.

I'm going for the Titans because I've hated the Roosters for a LOT longer. I don't even really hate the Titans yet, but Roosters are the AIDS of the competition.

I'd love to see the Titans win it, if only to stick it to the AFL ahead of the Suns entering their competition next year. It'd probably be the final nail in the coffin for gold coast united in the a-league as well.

Screw the titans!

I want a Tigers v Roosters GF at least it will be entertaining footy opposed to the Dragons v Titans

Does this change anyone's alliegance tonight?

On the eve of the biggest match in Gold Coast history, Titans chairman Paul Broughton boldly predicts the club will one day eclipse the Brisbane Broncos as the flagship franchise in Queensland.

I recall the Cowboys saying similar things when they beat us in 2004.

Go the roosters!
Regardless of the outcome, I think I'll be behind whoever wins the other prelm in the grand final

[eusa_clap.gi Couldn't agree more.

Although I have already started cultivating hate towards the Titans. Sitting in the away fan bay section at Suncorp Stadium at a Titans match will do that to a person.

how disrespectful. **** the titans. Im so pumped for tonight hahaha.

I am going for the Titans. Even though I hate them.

Roosters are my older sisters team & don't want them to win. [icon_evillaugh

LOLZ. Gotta love the arrogance. I hope they keep getting more and more arrogant. They'll alienate people even more.

Afterall, you ask most of their "fans" and they'll say they support the Titans because they're not the "arrogant Broncos"...

The Titans club and their fans are carrying on as though this week is the Grand Final - they haven't made it to the big dance yet, they need to settle down somewhat at this stage.

I can't blame them for being excited - it's the first time they've reached this stage of the comp isn't it?
