I'm going for the Titans because I've hated the Roosters for a LOT longer. I don't even really hate the Titans yet, but Roosters are the AIDS of the competition.

I hate both the Titans and the Roosters immensley, but will be supporting the Titans tonight. This decision is purely because my hatred for Anasta, Pearce, Friend, Warea-Hargreaves, Ryles, Conn and Carney outweighs my hatred of the Titans (which is mostly directed at Greg Bird).

I just read that article that made me vomit a little in my mouth with the Titans loud mouthing that they'll be the biggest supported team in QLD in a couple of years. It made me hate them a little more. :twisted: Do they want our support tonight or not? Sheesh!!!!!

A bit off topic but:

Gus goes on about "two" conferences for the NRL like the NBA - I don't entirely agree... I don't like the idea of a GF with oen from each side but I do think Sydney teams should play each other twice a year... it makes sense and it will generate crowds, hype and everything that comes along with that. Especially since you can play at each other's grounds once. Would create a nice 'rivalry' match the 2nd time round.

Anyway - I'm just saying... something similar-ish can be done for the QLD teams too I reckon. I think that would be good for the 'national' competition.

Serious question. Why is it that if it was a Brisbane Vs Melbourne Grand Final, Sydney fans would still watch the Grand Final and make a day out of it yet if it's an all Sydney grand final between 2 teams that Queenslanders can't stand, they won't watch it or will find an excuse not to watch it. This is the reason why QLD will never be the heart of league because QLD fans only care when their teams are in involved or if it's a team other than Sydney.

Go back to 2004 and I remember this forum was sucking some sour grapes because there was 2 Sydney teams playing each other in the Grand Final. Most of the forum refused to watched it or whinged about it. Lame.

QLD fans aren't Rugby League Supporters, they are QLD Rugby League Supporters and always will be.

Dickhead Gould last night going on about an all Sydney final gave me the sh!ts to start with, but the main reason is that I absolutely hate the dragqueens, cockheads and silver tails. Having to watch a GF between them would be too much for me, because I know one of them will be happy at the end.

Having said that, I am on the Tigers bandwagon and will cheer them home into the GF tonight. If they do win, I will double the cheer towards a Tigers GF win from my comfy Qld couch next week! icon_thumbs_u

Just out of curiosity, how many non Broncos/Storm fans do you think were at ANZ Stadium in the 2006 GF?

And this year's GF might very well have less people on the stands than the prelim played tonight. After all, the headless chooks don't have enough fans to fill one stand at ANZ. [eusa_doh

Why watch teams in the GF that you really hate, it's a waste of your time.

And maybe we QLD'ers get sick & tired of the League Commentators each year saying a Sydney team must be in the GF.
