NEWS Top Bronco sends SOS to Israel

the last thing we need is to pursue Folau unsuccessfully like the dragons. All the outrage with none of the pay off.

quote from Dobbo on Triple M's Rush Hour:

"I've spoken to people at the Broncos, who if he was allowed to come back, would absolutely 100% want to see him in a Broncos jersey and they would move a lot to get him there"

He specifies that he hasn't spoken to Kevvie on this

edit: just listened to the end of it and Dobbo predicts that before the year is out, we will see Folau back in the NRL and it will be in a Broncos jersey

Look, a man can dream ok!

Last time he was here tearing it up on the wing for the Broncos he was substantially younger, fitter, more match fit and he had Locky putting the ball to him on a string / a talented backline putting him over constantly.

At his age and after so long away from the game I'm not sure what he has to offer as a winger or centre, I think he'd only be worth giving a chance if you thought he could play fullback. I haven't watched any union in over a decade so I'm not sure whether he could still handle it - anyone have any opinions?

Could be a good stop-gap until Walsh is ready and add some experience and talent to our very ordinary outside back lineup.

I don't think there is any doubt he wants to play NRL again and more to the point he doesn't have a job so he really needs the NRL. Brisbane have salary cap space, have vacant roster space and lack serious quality in all positions he's capable of playing.

If Brisbane definitely have zero interest in him it has to be eithet because they have their eyes on another high quality signing OR they because of his previous misdemeanours. Given the situation we are in surely there is no way we turn down this oppourtunity.

I would suggest at Kevvie's next media conference (which will be next Thursday at the latest) he'll be asked about Folau 100 times over. And kevvie generally seems pretty open with these things so we'll have a good indication pretty soon on if this is likely to happen or not.

Hey ! He said nothing about Onanist s
I wondered if Onan, the biblical character was the first 'wanker' ! Instead, lovely old god killed him for throwing his spooty on the ground rather than throw it into Ers missus.
