RUMOUR TPJ to be sacked

Shock the media are saying poor TPJ and the Broncos are being too harsh by sacking him.
Look, in isolation for just this incident, they’re probably right.

Obviously the decision is not made in isolation though, and TPJ has more than just this latest incident going against him in recent times.

In fact, he’s got more than just that counting against him in just this week.

Well the Broncos seem to be saying no decision has been made and that might be code for the lawyers are still working out whether they can legally sack him. As a TPJ fan I hope that he finally realises that a major attitude change is required and his lawyer can mediate for one last chance.
At the end of the day though the club has to set a standard and he has to meet it or **** off. There are new good players coming through every year and the next one won’t be stupid enough to think he has the club over a barrel because he’s so wonderful.

Warriors have a pretty solid backrow with Tevaga, Harris and Katoa. Surely Barrett won't be interested in him either with Dogs off-field issues and club culture a massive priority.

My prediction is the Tigers or Souths.

If the Roosters 'somehow' have cap space and go for him it puts Tupouniua or Butcher on the market. I'd happily see the Broncos make a play and pay overs for either of them.
Brown is a massive fan of Lodge and tried to get him to Newcastle while he was coach.
Then you’ve got Pete O’Sullivan, Lodge’s father in-law in recruitment at the Warriors. If I were the broncos, I’d be trying to get some deal done.

Sacking TPJ plays into his hands, it'll free him to pursue another higher paying contract. It's what he wants. Broncos don't want him, he doesn't want to be there. Everyone gets what they want. Win-Win situation.

Doesn’t play into his hands at all.

When you consider how many games he has missed and the fact his ill discipline is atrocious, he will be lucky to even get more than $650,000/year ever again until he proves himself over a couple of seasons.

Even the Roosters and Uncle Nick aren’t stupid enough to pay him anywhere near that. They don’t overvalue nor do they overpay players, especially with the character of TPJ.

Only club desperate enough to pay him more than $650,000 and with that cap space in the current climate is the Bulldogs.

More than likely if he does eventually go to the Roosters they might give him $400,000 tops with the promise of success subsidising the amount he stands to lose.

I don't think the media has criticized the decision to sack him much if at all. They have rightly said he leaves a hole in the side compounded by losing Fifita but that's about it and it is true.

If this shit happened earlier, we probably would have offered Fifita another 100-150K, which I think would be fine without TPJ in the side. Then he'd either have stayed or we'd have forced the Titans to pay even MORE money.

I was referring to TPJ.

He isn’t going to be in massive demand mate
Not with his track record
How many clubs are gonna pay for a forward who misses half the season due to dumb suspensions

Has he actually been sacked? I don't think it's a good idea to be honest.

What if it's someone like Dearden or someone we want to keep that breaks the Apollo code next. We will be forced to sack them.

It's not a good precedent to set.

Doubt he's being sacked for just a lapse it wouldn't hold up in court as being reasonable. It's going to be for more than that, the calls to uncle Nick, attending a bikie hairdresser opening, and very likely a bunch of stuff they have managed to keep under wraps.

There will always be a coach out there that thinks he has the talent to fix a wayward player. In fact with TPJ they’ll be lining up.

Only if found to be shopping themselves around as well - they deserve to be.

No matter who they are.

The only person I have seen say that is Wayne’s bum chum Paul Crawley, and we could solve world hunger and that **** would have a problem with it.
Benji m , gallen and Kent. They're all saying it ,first he's a dumb thug and needs to go , now it's we are being to harsh and it would be better he goes to another club. Fucking joke

He was good with Bennett if I remember rightly.
