You know we signed Reynolds right?

The question is what happens if he goes down? Hes 31 and whilst he is supreme as far as what he can do, hes isnt immune to injury or crisis. We had 14 players go down with Covid this pre-season.
Someone has do his job, however imperfectly. We cant afford to assume he will play every game this season.
At the moment that replacement looks like Gamble but if is, shouldnt he then be running the same plays and trying to manage the team?
At the very least i hope there are some tricks left in the locker room, waiting for round 1. If not our hopes may come to crashing halt.

The issue I have with the trials (or at least the way we went about it), it was basically a running audition for people to show off their skills rather than do the things that win the team footy games (ball control, good defending, good discipline)..

Cowboys definitely played their trials with those things at the fore where as we with a different halves combo in seemingly every half of footy were never a chance.

I think we'll have a much better season but it won't be a much better season if Kevvie is playing russian roulette with our 5/8's

We may be shit, but trial results should never be part of your argument to justify. Glorified training sessions..
