Re: Trial Match #3 vs Warriors Live Match Discussion

It really doesn't look good for us.

On a positive, I thought Yow Yeh did well in defence playing up the middle. Was worried he'd be found out by someone with superior speed or size but he's coped well so far. That's literally the only positive I can take from it though.

we are still the most boring side to watch in the NRL. little impact in the forwards. nothing doing from the halves. warriors are playing ok but thats about it.

hunt doesnt look up to it.

Oh well, given how the Rooster played last night, we've got no problem right? Right?

That was hard to watch, I know it's only a trial, but if this performance is anything of a prelude to the season, we're in for the long haul.

S.O.S Peter Wallace.

P.S - Stewart Mills is Maranta v2

This is an absolute farce, Warriors have yet to hit second gear, Broncos continue to be a laughing stock. Nikorima, Wallace, Hannant and Hunt totally out of their element. Hope Warriors bench Johnson in second half.

I really, really, really, really wish I knew what it was that compelled Griffin to think: "Hey, I know what will solve the lack of creativity in the halves; putting Josh Hoffman there!".

I take back everything I said in the Hoffman thread. Release him to the Dogs now so Griffin can't play him as a half.

id rather they put us to the sword than go easy on us.

Hook needs to make some changes and quick smart.

Hoffman back to fullback, Strasser to five eigth and see how he goes with Hunt. Parker back to lock, Thaiday on a fringe & give Drew a shot on the wing.

Barring Hodges, Barba and arguably Kahu, are we full strength? The Warriors certainly seem to be, bar Manu anyway.

No positives out of this game so far for mine. That play that Maranta (surprise) fucked up looked good and crisp, albeit very simple. Who's our D coach atm?

Our attack is so boring and predictable

yep, couldn't agree more. Same as last year.... 3 up the middle then a sweeping second man play, then if that don't work lets just put a bomb up and hope for the best.

Hunt is to slow, reed and mills are a massive liability in defense. However its not all there fault, the forward pack is getting rolled over big time.. People say that playing lock is the same as playing front row, yes that is similar in some aspects however parker is more effective in the middle on tackle 3 or 4 rather than doing the donkey work on tackle 1 or 2.

Come on hook, man up as you are out of your depth........

Kearney.

Yep, don't like how they haven't given Strasser enough time to prove himself when Nikorima and him were on par at the Cowboys trial. Strasser is a far better defender.

Copley looked dangerous the only time he got the ball, almost put Maranta away. Only positive I saw
