Yep Locky is someone you cant say NO to.

I think they've just rewarded him for his season last year (he played every game didn't he?) and gave him a longer rest in the offseason. He's considered a certainty to play round 1 so just give him one trial to work out some cobwebs and that'll do.
Which clearly indicates they don't intend playing him in the centres too.
I would say Henjak is pretty definite that Kemp and Winterstein will play wing in round 1. Corey Norman or Josh Hoffman seem set for fullback.
Israel Folau will be one centre, for sure.
Other centre will come down to Gerard Beale, Alex Glenn, Steve Michaels or Ben Te'o I'd say.
The question is what will happen when first Yow Yeh and then Hodges return from injury. Who will drop out?

Didn't really impress when he played first grade last season, but i don't watch him week in, week out, so i'm not sure how he's meant to be used.

I doubt it mate.
I'm of the opinion he was used wrongly by the Broncos. They tried to play him has a hard working front rower when I'm of the belief that he is at his best as a ball playing back rower.
Having said that he wasnt at his best in his perfomances for the Broncos. I know he at times questioned if he belonged at the NRL and self belief is an important factor at the top level. I think he is much happier playing at QLD CUp Level.
BroncoMatt said:Dolphins Line up for Saturday...
1. Ryan Cullen - One of the QLD Cup's best players, a live wire full back with a great kick return. Will keep the Broncos kick chasers busy
2. Mitch Rivett - Has played for the Broncos U20's team for the last two seasons and trained with the Broncos in the pre-season. Questionable in defence but is quick and a good finisher.
3. Trent Clayton - Fast & strong centre making a comeback after a year off. Played 20 odds NRL games for the Roosters, Tigers & Panthers in the early 2000's before spending 4 seasons playing in the French Elite 1 comp.
4. Paul Ivan - A Tall (close to 200cm) & lanky but Quick player who looks more like a basketballer centre then a Rugby League one. Spent some time in the lower grades at Parramatta and is a former QLD Under 19's rep. His height can make him difficult to defend against.
5. Liam Georgetown - Arguably the fastest man in the QLD Cup. Spent a few seasons at Penrith, including 1 NRL game (coincidently against the Broncos) On his day he is one of the best players in the comp but when he is bad he is really bad.
6. Chris Fox - Former NZ Under 19 Halfback (Greg Eastwood was the 5/8) who has spent the last 5 seasons at the Phins.
More of a running 5/8 then a creative one, he hasnt lived up to expectations after a very good first season. Very Shaky in defence.
7. Mick Wilson - Handy young player who has had a horror run with injuries. More of an utility then a genuine halfback. Defends well, but kicking game is limited.
8. Matt Britt - A Broncos signing who has been placed with Redcliffe. Will be out to prove himself against the Broncos pack
9. Mick Roberts (c) - A QLD Cup great who played a handful of games with the Broncos in 2007. A smarty hooker half with a good kicking game from dummy half. WIll do the majority of general play kicking.
10. Chris Farrell - Hard working front rower who will keep the Broncos pack honest
11. Matt Handcock - 2008 Broncos U20 front rower. Was Redcliffe's best forward last season. Gets to his job in a no nonsense fashion. Reminds me of a young Shane Webcke
12. Kris Kahler - A Broncos 1 gamer who was part of the Famous Baby Broncos side who beat the Tigers in 2002. Played close to 50 games with the Raiders & Titans before a stint in France last season. Gets through a stack of work in defence
13. Ben Jones - Redcliffe Junior who spent time in the lower grades at Penrith before a couple of years playing NRL for Canberra. Had last season off but is a super fit player who will tackle himself to a stand still.
14. Palmer Wapau - Played a handful of games for the Broncos last year. Hits hard in defence and very creative in attack for a big man.
15. Willie Raston - Former Canberra NRL 2nd rower who has spent a few years in the wilderness. Very good player if his mindset is right and is dangerous running out wide
16. Mick Spence
- Hard hitting former U20s 2nd rower who is part of the Broncos top squad. Has built up his upper body considerably in the off season and can really sting in defence. A future Broncos NRL player for sure.
17. Derrick Watkins - Former Cowboy & Broncos player who has been close to Redcliffe's best in his 2 seasons at Dolphin Oval. Hits hard and gets through a lot of work in defence and runs even harder with ball in hand. Would not look out of place at NRL Club.
18. Timmy Yee - A very talented centre / 5/8 who was part of the Broncos U20 squad in 2008 but played the full season in Q CUp. A terrific broken field runner with a great step. Faith in his own ability is his biggest problem.
19. Tommy Butterfield - PNG International who was the Dolphins player of The year in 2009. Was part of the Broncos 2008 U20s team where he shared the hooking duties with Andrew McCullough. Has a great pass from dummy half and is dangerous running from the same position. Has a big future.
20. Marty Hatfield - A Lanky winger in the Scott Minto mould. Very good under the high ball and an OK finisher.
Red = NRL Experience
Gold = Part of the Broncos sqaud
