I just can't believe Waddell has played 27 minutes for the Broncos this season and has warranted a thread with 100+ replies, can we at least argue about a relevant player?
I might be wrong but as I said waddel would have trained with the team a week if that. Theres no time to correct personal flaws. They might have some run throughs of the sets, and apparently feeder clubs are using the same structures but it didn't look like it, in the game. With the AdLib style of Milford and co, it would be pretty hard to recreate at that level anyway. Whenever someone new goes into the spine its going to cause disruption. Knik did well fitting in when he was half, but then he would have spent alot of time with them training as a utility. Something waddel or anyone else for that matter, not a regular would lack. I'm sure he would be fine with a few weeks with them but that won't happen. If sua or arrow hangs around the team as an interchange you might see an improvement in their next game just because of the time they spend training with the team and getting used to player habits with the ball. When the team gets together at training . The skills coach should be telling Waddel to be more aggressive with his dummy half work . Take that clip of Bunji reaching in and picking the ball up as soon as its heeled . Then practice it every day till it improves .
Not to many elite level jobs where you can have a flaw in your own personal performance that affects the whole team performance . Not improve it and get your contract renewed .
Alternatively teach the receivers that old mate takes a little longer to pass so don`t stand too flat or your gonna be under pressure when you receive the ball and prolly receive a fwd pass or knock on . Its not rocket surgery
I thought he performed to an adequate standard, the team actually flowed reasonably well while he was on. The forwards got the ball early enough and no one appeared to stop on their run. Those early ball handling mistakes seemed to really hurt the team overall. Had they not happened I'm pretty sure the first half would have been a lot closer.I might be wrong but as I said waddel would have trained with the team a week if that. @Huge - @Morkel
Take it to PM. No one cares about the little feud you have.
Is there a requirement that you read every thread ? It's like your tv, you can watch the channels you like, why read if you only want to add valueless comments ? Save yourself the time...read about prowrestling or whatever, fat tv ladies etc
Spot on, nothing like having two Ipswich boys in prime positions ! Funny thing about McCullough, he's good enough to keep others out of a job but not quite good enough to put pressure on for a higher honour.
Someone tell him he's trending?I just can't believe Waddell has played 27 minutes for the Broncos this season and has warranted a thread with 100+ replies, can we at least argue about a relevant player?
Not sure if Macca isn't good enough to push for higher honours but more so stuck in line behind the best 9 in a long long time, if not ever.
Some think he is next, some say Friend is. Not sure who else is up there.
What about Granville? He made a big difference to the Cows when he moved north. Some say he was what they had been missing and made a huge difference to their push for their first premiership.
When Smith finally retires who is next on line for Qld and Australian honours?
Hopefully Smith doesn't retire until about 40, so we'll find some actually all-round worthy hooker to replace him from a new batch of kids.
Everyone can have bad games. Are we going to say Gillett is on the decline just because he had a bad game too? Worse game, even. He'll have a better game 2 for sure. IMO.
when will you get another run bro??** BUMP **
