I watched a warriors game (warriors v titans) back and it has me a little worried. As much as l like how walsh attacks the defensive line at speed, times his passes well, hangs around in support and offers an additional kick in play option, his defence both tackling, positioning and urgency at the back was horrendous.

He will need to work hard in the off season to reach the DD, ikin and KW broncos standards.

Got his opponent on tilt and he lost it hitting balls into him on purpose and into the crowd.

Yes, he's a gun, he's far ahead of Tesi and TMM.

Is he though? I mean attack wise, I feel like he is similar to Tesi, defensively, they both suck. TMM is a better all round player but he's also older and more experienced.

IMO, yes, easily. Walsh is a gun ball in hand, defensively, we'll see. Hard to judge too much given how fucking bad the Warriors are and Nathan Brown was the coach. TMM is excellent defensively but he's more prone to mistakes, and has a very low workrate.

Not bagging out TMM at all, but if both are in form I'd take Walsh every single time. With some good coaching, he could be a top 3 fullback, TMM cannot.

Walsh over Tesi for me. Tesi can be good running or setting up his outside men at a retreating or sliding defence but defending his line, catching difficult kicks or general cleanup of a rolling ball he is still heart in mouth material.

Tesi has had 2 good halves of footy and this week it was against a spine who threw out the worst kicking/5th tackle display I’ve seen all year. Tesi wasn’t put under any pressure defensively. I will admit his attack seems to have improved.

I’m not sold on Walsh’s defence either but Tesi is not a player you stress about fitting in your team.
