Perhaps it’s self preservation at this point in his career. Whatever the reasons, he is not living up to his pay cheque nor his leadership position.

I don't disagree with the notion that he hasn't been great in recent history BUT he is self aware, upfront and honest in his self appraisal. In fact he's been publicly critical of himself. That is not the case with Milford, a much higher paid member of the team. Boyd's recent games have been considerably better and it's clear he's working on his game. What's also clear is that Milford is not learning from his poor options and results and in my humble opinion needs to critically appraise his technique and see that his going high on big blokes is not working and hasn't worked in the past.

The photos are not evidence of anything related to the discussion. They are photos/screenshots of a moment in time with the subjects speeds and actions not clearly discernible. Anyway, I am not discussing Boyd here. I've made my point that Milford needs to change his technique and isn't learning from failure upon failure. He's taking a softer option time and again. I've raised awareness and other posters will pay closer attention to see if I'm correct.

I believe Milford reads BHQ, in fact I'll bet plenty of them do and our words do reach a lot of the(Bronco's) players eyes. In fact I'd think most would realise that BHQ holds to a higher standard than most if not all rugby league forums.

I don’t know if I agree there, mate. Boyd came out very recently saying that he’s been happy with his form, and also deflected a lot of the criticism by saying it is only being said because we’re losing. That does not seem like an honest self-aware appraisal to me. Milford has come out many times over the years and said he (or he and Kodi) need to step up and manage games better, communicate better, etc. He barely has ever done it but he is at least very aware that they aren’t good enough.

One thing I have to say is at least he isn't doing it every time he gets tackled anymore, same with Milford. So there's one kink Seibold has managed to iron out, there could be hope yet.

Mmmm, how quickly we forget! He actually publicly acknowledged his previous poor form more than a month ago saying he had to improve and was critical of himself even pinpointing areas of his game that needed improving or did you simply miss that? Easily missed I suppose.
