So a bad squad matters when its showcasing how shit bennett has been, but when showcasing how good he was previously the squad is irrelevant?

Thats what shits me about bennett fan boys. When he wins, its coz he is fantastic and can coach so well, even if the team he has is basically the QLD team

when he loses, everyone just highlights how his team is full of nobodies , of course he cant win with them

Apparently they are the only options ... Wayne Bennett is obviously the only guy who can win the Broncos another premiership ... and if thats the case the Broncos future looks very bleak indead.

Well 100% of Broncos premierships were won under Bennett, so I like his credentials.

I've got doubts about this as Bennett's efforts (for 2014) with Newcastle were dissapointing and he seems to have gone past his date.

Bennett took a very average Knights team to the finals last year, while even with our roster, we couldn't make the finals and finished 13th.

"very average" = most rep players out of any team in the league.
and lets not pretend they made the finals on the back of some great play - they got there with a 50% win rate purely because the other teams in front of them who only needed to manage 1 win in the last month just collectively shit the bed. Then they had a dream run to the prelim final by getting matched against the worst team in the finals who had just been thrashed by the 12th placed broncos and were without their best player, and then the down and out storm who had been playing broken for 2-3 months, with the help of some very dubious refereeing decisions. then they got absolutely destroyed by the first decent challenge.

I expected it because we have a good young roster coming through and bennett knows that it could be an easy ride to success, so he'll take his millions and all the credit if we win or come close, and none of the blame if we crash and burn.

and most of the people on this forum will do what they always do, make excuses for him. if we win its all because of him, if we lose its all because of the players.
