Well let me ask you this? Why are we punting Bennett? If it’s because the board think he can’t win a comp, and then he goes and wins a comp, then that’s on them.
By your reckoning, is it not true that we are also a chance regardless of who coaches?

Yeah we're both a chance, but Souths are more "premiership ready" given their squad has a core of players who have won a GF. Seibold also sorted out their biggest issue (hooker). Our squad is more talented but still somewhat raw.

Yeah I get the feeling he will remain at hooker unfortunately. I dont think he is a bad player but he just is not that good either....average at best attack with good defence.

FTR, as I have said, I think Bennett should see out his contract, and for us to go in a different direction in 2020 ... how long can the club allow Bennett to live off his reputation and past achievements

Oh well, very mixed feelings about this whole deal/situation. Don't mind Seibold but Bennett is the master coach. Plus our high performance team is very good and will probably go with Wayno. Also what does this mean for Demetriou?

The reality is Bennett is smart enough to take Souths to a premiership. Kind of like changing cars for the sake of its colour....
