It even includes the new coach in Walters too. They could all **** right off and never return.
Board meeting is next Tuesday. I’d think a decision would be made then.

I will always love Locky but it would frankly be a dumb as dogshit decision and yes he should go. I don't give a shit how old he is getting, you do not willingly downgrade from Wayne Bennett....Again

Because Wayne Bennett has been very successful since his return, he has won us heaps of trop ... oh yeah that's right
but at least he has had us climbing that ladder each season getting closer to a premiership ... oops, wrong again

Oh FFS why can't they hurry up and bloody announce it? Surely someone will leak something before then. The board must know in their minds who the best candidate is now after the interviews have all been conducted.
I'm an impatient bastard and just wanna know who the hell will be leading us. Seems like this shit has been dragging on most of the season!

I've gone for jobs where i have been called back for second interviews, and these jobs weren't for the most high pressured coaching role in Australian sport ... sometimes all a first interview does is narrow the field

Can't blame him for 2015 , that should've been ours. Ben hunt capitulating and then leaving hasn't helped either.
Do you think any of these other coaches would've helped? Don't think so !

FTR, i'm not advocating Walters get the gig ... I think his record speaks for itself and if he wasn't a club legend he probably doesn't even get shortlisted ... but there are people on here who would still think Bennett should get extended even if he managed to get us our first ever wooden spoon
Hunt wasn't the only one to shit the bed that night ... Oates and Macca made mistakes that were just as much (if not, more) responsible for us losing that match.
you guys wanted Hunt gone, he is gone ... and Bennett had 12 months to find a replacement for him and he choose Niko FFS.
It can't live off his past results ... he must be judged on what he has done recently ... and recently he had lead us in the wrong direction on the table

No there isn't. Not one single person. But there are numerous people acting like he has just got us our first ever wooden spoon. Trophies aren't the only measurement of success. We are in a far better place than we were or would be without him.

The reality is that Bennett has made some questionable decisions and that cannot be denied. He has also helped unearth the most potentially potent forward pack this side has had since the glory days. He has appeared to become softer by extending Boyd on a ridiculous contract, not tapping Thaiday on the shoulder and seemingly treating players with kid gloves. He has also helped unearth a couple of potential future star backs in Isaako and Staggs. He has also been an amazing influence on Oates and if not for the players shutting up shop in 2015, he would have also delivered a 7th premiership already. That said, he hasn't managed to produce a good halfback since Alfie (though I'd argue Milf was sensational this year, just needed more help) and he has stuck with a number 9 that will not take this side to a premiership and signed a busted right centre that the team did not need. Plus, he is getting REALLY old.
He needs to be replaced at some point in the near future and so I understand the management team wanting to get someone while they can and especially since the level of top notch NRL coaches at present is not great and two of the best, Bellamy and Robinson, are not going anywhere.

So our future isn't looking bright then ? He got us to a Gf in 15 and put us in good stead the last few. Sometimes the players need to take responsibility . Yes kodi hasn't taken the next step but the coach you so want has him at 7 as well, so obviously people with better judgment then you think differently.
