What Do You Want To See?

After our lacklustre end to last year and performance on friday night a lot of people are unhappy with the way the team are headed atm. Some people are blaming our performances on the personnel while others are blaming our structures and then there are people who think its a combination of both. My question is what changes/improvements do you think need to be made in order for us to be a real premiership threat in the future?

New game plan. Not one where it fails once, and we turn back to this bullshit of bash them up the middle and tire them out. By the time our oppositions are tired, we're fucked, and the game is lost.

Lots of passing. We look good when w move the ball around.

Bench use is pathetic too.

I think the personnel is pretty good to be honest, but our structures are f***ed. We need to stand deeper in attack all the f***ing time. I sick to death of watching players essentially next to each other hand each other the ball and then get instantly tackled, it's so amateur. I'm not trying to sound stupid but the little kids that play at half time half a deeper attacking line. I'm not trying to jump on the hook is to blame band wagon but WTF is he thinking?!?

I am seriously considering making a banner that says 'stand the f*** deeper'. The players need to go back to where the feel like they are standing too deep, and then go back about a metre

I'd like to see how our team would play if we took Wallace and Norman out and put in Thurston and Boyd.... Our structure and game plans obviously don't look great but our halves are shit and our fullback is terrible.

All we need is a good half or two. Then even Hoffman at fullback would be good, just like he was in 2010 and 2011 with Lockyer (provided he doesn't try to bulk up like everyone else in the side).

Problem still seems to be around structure and organisation. Prince is a half and shouldn't be playing at 5/8 and nothing will change in our attack while the focal point of organising surrounds Peter Wallace.

By round 4 or 5 Reed has to be gone and Kahu has to be in.

Thaiday really has to lift his game, his personal performances haven't been anywhere near good enough.

Norman isn't a fullback. He was put there because the club is scared he will sign with Parra. He did ok on Friday night but as a whole our fullback options are terrible

I'm a massive fan of the mantra "defense wins championships". Get that urgency in defense back, just like early 2011, the wins will then come.

I'm sick of this persistence with useless juniors that just aren't up to the standard they need to be. I'm sick of people saying we should give No Name Player 1, 2 , and 3 a run, only for those players to never be heard of again, because ultimately, they were shit from the get go, hence they were never called up.

We need to start buying talent to replace the genuinely good players who Bruno got rid of because of Israel Folau the greedy prick.

We're attempting to win games in the sports most elite competition with players who are not even worthy of representing the lower grades. It's pathetic.

Norman - Seriously, he's the new Stu Kelly or Steve Michaels. He is useless, and keeps getting a go.
Macca - Can't even play 80 minutes for Gods sake. We SUCK without him on the field. Why? Next line.
Hunt - At Hooker because Macca isn't on the field. He's not a Hooker from everything I'm seeing.
Hoffman - Why are we playing a bloke who confessed he didn't give the season last year his all? Piss off mate, chance gone.
Wallace - Do I really need to say anything? Really?

Then we have suggestions of players named Bond, Kahu, etc. and other names no one has ever heard of, but because apparently he was awesome in Q Cup or U20's they automatically deserve selection.

I get it. We've done well in the past with juniors, but it's time to get fucking serious. Our best scout is gone, and the bloke who could actually mould juniors into good players work for the Knights.

Time to start buying some decent players so we can field a squad worthy of the NRL.

Hold up.. just cause you have never heard of them doesn't automatically mean they are shieet.
If they killed it in QLD Cup then they deserve a chance if there is spot up for grab in that position.
In which case Bond does deserve a go.
As for Kahu he was a star at Keebra Park but obviously injuries has held him back. He needs time in QLD Cup but I'm sure once he gets his confidence back, he'll play some good footy for the Broncos.

You're complaining that the roster is shieet and want to buy players but you're not willing to give players like Bond and Kahu a go even though they are obviously talented. But you rather play Norman at fullback for the rest of season until we buy a fullback? Talk about a waste of a season.
