I thought we gave away some silly penalties. Basic stuff like offsides and hands on the ball. We need to be super disciplined to not give those refs any reason to blow the whistle because they were clearly looking for any excuse.

You think so? Giving away territory and releasing pressure while they are locked down their end isn't ideal though even if it does frustrate the cows. It's playing with fire giving Thurston possession in your half.

I think it's somewhere in between what SF said and what you said, we're not a great squad but we're definitely not a bad squad. Let's compare our 1-13 with the Knights, who everyone is ready to give a dutch rudder to for their remarkable recruitment.

We're virtually better across the park, the only one you could try and talk me out of is Kahu vs Ross, but I'm quite content with Kahu on the wing because he kicks goals @ 80% and rarely makes an error. Boyd & Milford are still clearly better overall players than their counterparts, despite their recent form. We've definitely got a good squad, just need a Halfback.

I'd maybe pick 2015 Boyd over Ponga, but I wouldn't pick 2016, 17 or 18 Boyd over him... Boyd is done... As for your other selections i'd pick Glenn over Fitzgibbon. Glenn is grosly underated imo. Very very solid week in week out and has saved Milford on so many occasions.

Just heard a podcast of triple m's Sunday show. There's a segment called "I call bullshit". Seriously, Bennett still plays the media like a fiddle. He got the exact reaction he would have wanted from Kent and Tallis on there. They went in to a fit haha. You're a bit harsh there. The ball was firstly going away from him, then the ball was likely picked up by Lodge, then McLean likely tackled by Lodge and/or Glenn then he reached across the line. Look at Lodge and Glenn stuffing up there, not Boyd. Gee, some of the Boyd hate is delusional on here sometimes.
