Hindsight is a wonderful thing (and in some cases it wasn't possible) but which of these players in reality should have been kept:
1. Norman
2. Hoffman
3. Copley
4. Moga
5. Gagai
6. Hunt
7. Taylor
8. Wallace
9. Granville
10. Ese'ese
11. Hipgrave
12. Blair
13. Arrow
I've probably forgotten a few. There are a number in there who are absolute no-brainers to have gotten rid of but there more than a couple who really should have been kept.
Sims - Ese'ese
Thaiday - Arrow
No one - Taylor
No one - Gagai
Totally agree with this. A traditional halfback who carries out his duties efficiently and consistently. It could improve things immediately. Even a debutant like Murphy, Dargan or Scarlett would be a vast improvement on Kodi who is totally lost out there and doesn't contain the skills nor the smarts to ever be an effective #7. He is by far the worst halfback to ever wear a Bronco jersey and he knows it. Bennett knows it too but I don't think he is keen on ending the kid's career. Soon, he will have no choice.I really think we just need a decent halfback that’s all this side needs honestly. We need a half to put those kicks in and get the runners off him a bit wider than dummy half. Milford would excel if he can just play his natural game instead of being a halfback too.

6. Hunt...a large portion of this site was bagging him and wanted him gone. He got dropped from first grade in his final season here and the market dictated his price tag to be over a million doll hairs. We probably should have not spent a mil on an overweight centre and used that money to resign Oppa and Hunt but I’m no Super coach.
I can guarantee one thing, if Hunt leads the Dragons to a premiership, the mood around here is going to be the worst in the sites history. Myself personally, I will just be livid at the man himself.
He's getting carried by Widdop at St George anyway.
Not re-signing Hunt and choosing to spend big money on Bird instead is likely to be the decisions that end Bennett's Broncos career for good imo.
That and re-signing Boyd for 4 YEARS on over $500,000 pa. Jesus. He's losing it.
Hindsight is 20/20. If we re-signed Hunt on over a million dollars on the back of the SHIT he dished up post 2015 I may have had an aneurysm from pure, unbridled rage. He's getting carried by Widdop at St George anyway.
EDIT: random drug tests are in order on Saturday/ Sunday mornings for blokes we want to get rid of who are on long contracts.
He's actually playing really well and they are complementing each other perfectly.
I'm not sure why the drug tests are necessary. If I were in charge of the club, a form clause would be included in every long term contract. If you are on a 800k+ a year and you're playing like our mob last night, your contract is going in the shredder.
Drug tests are a necessity if we're modeling a rebuild off the roosters.
