What is happening at the Broncos?

There have been quite a few pictures in media articles floating around showing him to have quite a girth for a professional athlete, let alone a rugby league back, like it is clearly a gut.

But he was injured for the majority of the off-season, and has only played a few games this year too. I mean, Milf, no excuse, but this guys got a few pretty good ones I thought.

Battling Broncos turn on each other

All is not well in the Broncos camp in the wake of the club’s poor start to the season, with players turning on each other in a very public arena last weekend.
The Broncos have won just three of their opening seven matches and were humbled by the Storm over the weekend at home.
The players decided to have a bonding session at Brisbane’s Little Big House on Saturday night - but it all went horribly wrong.

Things didn’t get physical - but fellow patrons were stunned to hear the Broncos players abusing and blaming each other.
Security tried to keep the patrons away - but my man on the scene tells me plenty of people heard it all as the Broncos aired their dirty linen in public.

Such a stupid article. The Mole obviously seen the pic on social media (like we all did) and decided to fabricate a story of disharmony. I hope they are pissed with each other, it shows they care and are keen to turn things around. But again, this is just more of the brainless and unsubstantiated rubbish that does it's frequent rounds in the RL world these days.

Yeah no arguments from me for being a little out of shape but looking at the pictures in the media (if you can believe them), he was very out of shape. A shoulder injury does not prevent you from jumping on an exercise bike or controlling what you eat.

Ahh, but the doctors and staff at his new club might have stopped him from doing that. Unfortunately without the ins and outs, I'd have to put it to the club. They employ people to make sure these players are working out and eating correctly. So it was either planned due to his recovery, or the blame lays with those who should have had him slim.

I think we put a lot of blame on the players for things that they have no control over in a professional sport.

Fair points but he has openly said he likes to binge on McNuggets.

Who can blame him? They are delicious but I am still not happy that you can't get sweet mustard dip with them anymore.

You can't??? That's a disgrace! No point moving back to Aus then.

No no Nashy, it was only a shoulder injury so he should have had no issues running and performing full training. I mean your shoulders don't move whatsoever when you run so no issue.

Yeah, I guess that would be a deal breaker if you are thinking of relocation but sweet n' sour is pretty good though. I might go test them out for lunch as I have a sudden craving for McNuggets, strange as that may seem. Maybe I'll run into [emoji211] there if he happens to be at a Maccas in Coffs Harbour for no apparent reason.

They were?

Since when does being competitive for 70 minutes, eventually losing to reigning premiers by 14 points with a dodgy try thrown in, count as being humbled?

I thought being flogged by 40 was being humbled

The hyperbole in journalism makes me so mad

And by hyperbole, I mean bullshit

His man on the scene aye? I'm guessing the Mole has spies all over the place.

Lol, moron.

I was in that place the other day. It's a long trek up stairs and around corners to go take a piss, let me tell you. I was ready to thump my mate out of frustration so I feel their pain....

Bird probably wasn't pigging out at Maccas or anything like that ...

he was probably eating what he normally does, but because he wasn't doing his regular training due to injury, it was too many calories ...

that is proof he isn't mentally right ... KFC have the best nuggets

KFC nuggets are the best, but the Maccas ones are free. Poor Jack keeps hearing how he’s on $2 million a season, yet when he looks at his contract he realises he has to save every dollar he can.
