What Role Should Adam Blair Play In The Team?

It was interesting to hear Benny yesterday comment on Blair.

"He's like Anthony Milford and all the new boys at the club. They're trying to settle in and trying to find their place and they're not part of the pecking order right now."

"I am sure if Sam and Corey are calling for the ball and Adam is calling for it. I know where the ball is going."

Haha, Sam calling for the ball, good one Wayne.

He did say "If".

Hurry up game start. So keen to see if the team has improved from last week. Also Ill be amazed if our defense is as "good" as last week.

Seriously to the people saying Blair could be your Fensom give yourselves an uppercut and watch Fensom. Forget the 31 tackles of Blairs is insignificant to what Fensom does Fensom also does a lot in attack, regularly around 100m per game, past couple of years he's been one of the leading decoy runners of the whole comp plus he has a good offload, Fensom is not just a tackle machine it's just what he's known for. It's a ridiculous comparison unless you believe Blair can regularly make 40 plus tackles, 100m and a tonne of decoy runs per game.

Hold up, when did someone mention Fensom? Blair at prop is about steeling the pack. The closest Bronco to Fensom is Parker.

Was mentioned earlier a couple of times but after rereading it was just from the one guy, so Porthoz give yourself an uppercut.

Didn't want to use Parker/Fensom comparison on here but he'd be the closest, Fensom tends to work harder though IMO where as Parker works smarter.

With the shit Blairs copped you'd have to imagine he'll come out firing like Thaiday did a few years ago when the media blasted him for a poor game with no running.

He copped heaps of shit at the Tigers for his embarrassing efforts (considered the worst signibg ever in the media) and he didn't seem too phased by it. Hopefully it's different this time.

Fensom hasn't made 100 meters in either of Canberra's first 2 games.

Why don't you give yourself an uppercut, and learn to read FFS.

with the pay check he was earning down there and the fact that he continually got selected, why would he be phased.

I just hope he isn't on anywhere near the reported amount he was on at the Tigers

Coming back from from a major injury 3 months ahead of schedule playing reduced minutes, he shouldn't even be playing

Tonight's effort would be a good benchmark.

137m, 28 tackles, 0 missed. Worked them in the ruck and drew a few penalties.

Cut out the tunnel ball and nfl passes though, please.

Raiders player, does a lot in attack. You can only pick one.

I thought Blair was fazed by the criticism and showed some real determination tonight. You would have to call his game a massive step up from last week and probably has set a standard for himself that WB will be expecting on a regular basis. Of course the extra minutes probably inflated his stats but we all are a lot happier with his attitude change.

Played well tonight easily his best performance in a Broncos jersey by a country mile. Made more hit ups then what he did in our first 2 game combined.
