Where does the club go to from here...?

No it sucks ass but if they are going to persist with Milford this year and next then they need to dumb it right down for Anthony because quite frankly he’s a simpleton. Tell him the game plan really slowly before the game and write it on his hand.
And then write a reminder to look at that hand on his other hand.

Can and I will, those two deserve to be dropped, they are senior players in this team who’ve been underperforming for years. As far as I’m concerned whatever they were going to achieve in broncos colours they have done it.

first step towards moving forward and showing leadership would be to drop those 2 toxic players.
Sure you can, but it would be a terrible barometer for judging a coach. He’s dropped plenty of underperforming players already and it doesn’t change anything if he can’t coach.

There are serious issues at this club.
Look at our captain, Glenn who 12 months ago the Broncos were shopping around to any club that would listen, now he is the captain of this side.
How is that even possible? It genuinely makes no sense.
Then you've got the other deep issue that one player manager has 15 of these players on his books, plus the coach.
We are pathetic.
Time to start again, from top down a complete overhaul.

The end.

Oates does not get put away on the wing anymore, I would drop Boyd and move Oates to center and have Coates outside him. Oates is able to push himself through the line and if they work on his offload with a young fast wingers outside him. Good for PR department as well.... Oates & Coates

Boyd’s in his last season, Milford’s in his 5th year as 5/8, whether or not Seibold can coach or not is irrelevant for these two. Leadership is a big part of coaching, showing some now by dropping two toxic players would be a good demonstration of that.

That’s my point. It’s very easy to just drop players like it’s fantasy footy. What isn’t easy is the rest of the things coaches are supposed to do that Seibold has failed at. If you’re withholding judgment based on who he drops then you’re giving him too much leeway

The calls for him to be called into work today and be sacked is Fantasy football. Sifting through threads I’m reading calls for his instant dismissal which are not productive because that’s never going to happen.

Dropping two overpaid and underperforming players is a realistic step in the right direction.

That’s because our pet play no longer exists. It was our only play but hey it worked. it made Oates and Milford origin players too.

Not my point at all. Dropping them is a step that I’ve even asked for, but if you’re withholding judgment of a coach for that moment and not caring about the other things he can’t do then your priorities are wrong

Seibs dropped the Jet last year for bad D and being disinterested. Boyd should and can be dropped this week. Staggs and Arthars in the centre spots. I am sick to death of this. Seibs needs to nut up and make same calls. You have the youngest team in the league, well provide them some leadership and ship out those who's performances are not up to scratch.

Reed was busted and still looked faster and defended better then whats on show with Voyd. Reed retired with his head held high, this prick we have out there has zero insight and should be handing in his papers today.

Milf has no excuses for his past two games, he should be our best player week in week out leading this team around the park. I think he has been our best player over the years but has always lacked consistency. There is no room for that now he is a veteran half. He should be playing at a much higher level and expecting a lot more from those around him. He is too passive and that is his problem, he does not look like somebody who demands perfection from those around him.

Actually that seems to be the major problem with our club. There is nobody there that looks like they demand perfection. There is no body asking the person next to them to be accountable. The drop balls, the penalties and most of all the poor D shows a complete lack of personal pride and accountability.

I hoped that would be addressed after last years finals drubbing. The last two games has shown it has not and as before the worst players on the field were the senior players. Those senior blokes are not leaders. How do you follow people who are doing nothing for you to follow, you can't be inspired by people who's actions are less then your own.

The Broncos of old are dead I am afraid. There is no Petro or Webcke taking the hard run or taking on the other teams pack personally. There is no Locky pulling the strings, no Tunza being an animal, no Thorns or Tallis, no Langers or Walters, No Saliors or Hancocks. The list could go on and on of men that lead by their actions, men that inspired those around them, men that others wanted to play with.

This bunch of boys have none of that, I feel sorry for them. Those that they should be looking up to are letting them down. They instead are looking to their 19 yr old team mates for the inspiration. It just does not work like that. The young blokes should be playing their natural games and the old boys should be giving the team the backbone.

I said it another thread, we are a team without balance. In fact we may even be the new Knights of the comp, over reliance on youth. You need both, you need a balance and you need the right type of players.

Yeah I've long thought Oates would make an excellent centre but goodness me, now just take him from wing and put him anywhere else. His talents are totally wasted outside the current waste of space in the 4.

Boyd’s ‘justagamitis’ has infected this entire team.
But it's just a game remember. Can't get a bigger winning attitude then that, I'm sure Seibold would back that up.

This is probably close to what our team would look like without injuries or suspension for 2020. It's honestly not a bad team and even a lot of experts were tipping a somewhat successful season with it. Crossed out anyone who wass unavailable due to injuries and suspensions.

We've got most of these for 2021, and will have Boyd and Macca money.

But Boyd brings it on himself and validates the quote in that context with performances like last night

In this case he doesn't I dont think. The quote was clearly about the pressures outside of the game from social media and players mental health. In no way does that validate his poor form on the field. Its not related to him being finished as a footy player.

I was more coming from an angle that it often looks like he doesn’t care because it’s “just a game”.
