Where to From Here? Let's Plan for 2021...er...2025

He got absolutely monstered toward the end. QLD forced him back about 15m. I’ve never seen anything even close to that happen to him before. The poor kid is spent.

We flogged the shit out of him and Carrigan. Pat seemed to come through it better Payne, but I was saying all year it was utter stupidity to keep playing these young blokes such big minutes. Just because the can do it, doesn't mean they should do it.

I don't believe we got rid of bird if we didn't want to utilize his money, surely we have signings coming

'Member when we got rid of McGuire, Su'A, KNik and Roberts and replaced them with Croft, Kennedy, Kennar and Kahu?

Don't be so sure.

I wouldn't rule out Allan yet. There is still plenty of time to make that happen and I think both clubs would have plenty of reason to see a deal come off.
Fingers crossed, he’s lightyears ahead of what we’ll roll out otherwise.

Just watched 2015 GF as I do every now and then and if I were the club I’d put that on in the training centre the first day they return to training and ask the boys to replace it with something better by their 2021 campaign.

Yeah Seibold the tucking spud. What a dickhead. No thought for player welfare, especially with what was going on in the young fellas home life on top of getting blown off the park every week.

If only Oates replicated JFK by moving back and to the left.

Kramer

That or we were over the cap if we didn't release him.
Nah , we had money for Fifita aswell as players not resigned so I very much doubt it. We also could have punted TPJ if we wanted to.

This is achievable. Not many left off contract now.. Most have been snapped up.. Because we are too slow..

* = new signing

1. Corey Allan*
2. Corey Oates (Farnworth when Staggs is back, Oates moves to backrow)
3. Will Chambers* (Good experience for our backline on just a 2 year deal)
4. Kotoni Staggs (Farnworth to start the season)
5. Xavier Coates
6. Anthony Milford (Flick Milford when contract is over and replace with Trindall/Paix/Niu)
7. Thomas Dearden
8. Payne Haas
9. Jake Turpin (I don't think he's our long term option, but maybe our best for 2021)
10. Tevita Pangai ( think Sio Siua Taukeiaho)
11. Ben Te'o (keen to see how he goes after a full pre season)
12. Jaydn Su'a* (swap with Lodge)
13. Patrick Carrigan
______________________
14. Braydon Trindall* / Corey Paix / Tesi Niu
15. Jordan Riki
16. Kayleb Milne* / JJ Collins* / Luke Bateman* / Ethan Bullemor
17. Thomas Flegler

Has te'o been re signed for next year?
Yes, I believe so.

there was never much quality on the market for 2021.
Hmmm depends how far ahead you plan haha. Seems like Broncos go year to year with their salary cap planning and then we always leave our signings to the last minute... We should be planning for 2025 right now.
