Where will we finish?

You've gotta give a big congratulations to the Titans for making the 8, if you said they would at the start of the season you would've been laughed at. Neil Henry would have to win coach of the year you would think.

What day will the game be?

Raiders will be hard to beat. Calling it now.

Some are saying Sunday afternoon. Fox Sports have us down as Sunday.

I don't think it's been confirmed yet.

normally i would hope this is true ... but for the finals series, best to go with what we know ... Friday night it is.

we are vampires after all

We have to beat both the teams that have collectively knocked us out of the finals every year for the past decade (bar 2011, which was Gerard Beale's knee).

I don't think we've ever beaten the Storm or the Cowboys in a finals game (or at least an elimination game).

The thing that keeps me positive is that we have room for improvement - and if Milford and Roberts can set this finals series alight at Suncorp, you never know.

Melbourne - 1998 Semi Final, 2006 Grand Final.

Cowboys - Qualifying Final, 2015.

Yeah yeah, but we haven't beaten either of them in a finals game this year.

Cowboys last year wasn't sudden death.

Assuming we beat the Titans (which we should, though it's not a foregone conclusion), who would we prefer to face next week? Storm or Cowboys?

In either case it's a tough match up against a top tier team on their turf, smarting from a loss and playing for their survival.

Personally, I'd prefer the Cowboys. I think the Storm will have learnt from our victory and will be better prepared this time around. Bellamy is tactically superior to Green IMO, and if the Storm get the edge in momentum in a tight finals match, they know how to grind it into a win.

Cowboys are a tough out too, but their coach doesn't quite have the same nous, nor do they have that recent experience to draw on. They're also less consistent than the Storm, both recently and historically. I think we could take it to them, but it would still be tight most likely.

I'd rather we go back to Melbourne, I reckon somehow we have gotten a mental advantage over the Storm the last couple seasons, they wouldn't admit it but we are getting to be their bogey side

Think I'd prefer the Cowboys at this point in time. Though Granville is a danger I dont think he's in top form.
They didn't put that many points on the Titans and didn't come out like we did against the Storm.
Also they'd be pretty wiped after playing the Storm in Melbourne .
Will Mathew Scott still be out with his finger/thumb?
