It's always his plan... praise the broncos whenever they change coaches to try and get a coaching gig... then he doesn't get the gig or is sacked almost immediately and he suddenly death rides them hoping they go after a new coach so he can start his cycle again.

Someone who is from NZ who coached rugby union averagely? Someone who told their own kid to sign elsewhere? What does state allegiance have to do with the 2025 Brisbane Broncos? The Storm sign people from everywhere but their own state and they're super successful. I'm so bored with this opinion. We hinder ourselves by only picking Queenslanders when everyone else has their hand in the pie that are supposed to be "our juniors". Our coaches have proven to absolutely suck, which has caused us to absolutely suck. There's no good reason to just target Queensland born coaches when most of those coaches have fucked us around for years now. Their allegiance hasn't been to the Broncos, that's for sure.

Exactly, what if Madge has his eye on a few junior NSW prospects that he already has a relationship with that he can lure north.

For the next coach I would look for somebody the board doesn't think to interview, seems like their track record is suspect.

This paying coaches out of their final years is stir crazy. Bad as the 'player option' fiasco they had going recently.

Getting paid a half or full milly to coach the Broncs is not a hard sell... have performance clauses in all contracts longer than 2 years, or any extension. A Broncos team not making the top 8 should be an immediate 'club option' as to whether they continue with a paid contract, it shouldn't be difficult.

I can't be the only one that feels weird about Broncos getting the current NSW coach, like surely there has to be some limit.

Like look at our team song it completely contradicts a NSW coach running the team.

Who gives a **** where he is from or what Blues shite he coached…?!
He is the coach of the Broncos. That’s it.
The best coach in the NRL is from NSW.
The best player in the NRL is from NSW.

Service was awful and my quarter pounder had no onions and pickle so a glorified cheeseburger if you will. First and last time. Aspley is my go to lol
