Ease up turbo, still a few rules to go along to which will make it a bit more interesting. Got this off another site and I reckon it would be pretty rad to do. Here's the gist of it:

You have to remember them playing for their country in the WORLD CUP to include them, either TV or LIVE.

It can be any (realistic) formation but must have a keeper and at least 3 defenders.

Basically, you can only pick people whom you have seen play at the World Cup either in the flesh or on the telly.

Regular season matches don't come into it, just based on the World Cup.

I can see penny picking the whole Italian XI from 2006. [icon_non

BATISTUTA!!! 1998 World Cup. Dominated Jamaica, scoring a hat trick and becoming the first player to score a hat trick in 2 World Cups.

No doubt Batistuta was a fantastic player, but I'm pretty sure even Emile Heskey could destroy Jamaica on his day.

...then again maybe not [icon_lol1.

cmon Ning, you know me better than that! I have seen 6 beautiful world cups. Im more a fan of football than I am 1 team. If I were to add players from one side tho, itd be the 94 Italian side, how i loved that team... anyways, i will do mine tomorrow.

Haha, just joshing penny.

I'll do mine once I get this assignment out of the way. I can pretty much only choose from 2002 and 2006. Was too young for the other two that have occurred since I was born.

...of course this is just what I think the best XI would look like since I have only seen limited highlights

-----Beckenbauer--Moore---Baresi----------
-------------------Matthaus--------------------
----Cruyff--------Charlton--------Platini-----
---------Maradona-----------Pele-------------
--------------------Ronaldo--------------------

I'm not gay, just bored and avoiding study for a fast approaching exam. Coming up with an all time XI is a perfect way to procrastinate :D

never saw 86 world cup man, like i have seen games of the tournament, but i wasnt old enough to watch the 86 world cup and im only doing this on tournaments i watched. Diego was ordinary in 90 and didnt play long enough in 94.

ive seen the uruguay game, the final, the english game and the belgian game, where he was amazing, but i never watched the full tournament live. so while I have every right to put Maradona in, I decided I would do it on 90-2006, otherwise itd be wierd for me to then not include guys like Platini & Scifo
