Hard to think of positions and so forth unless I sit down and have a think about it. Off the top of my head though - here are some players that I simply don't rate:

Michaels - enough said

Gorrell - I still don't see why we bought him and what he offers?

Ashley Graham - I might be a bit unfair but if I'm a cowboy fan, I'm thinking 'why?' Maybe in another team but the cowboys seriously need to look at their flankers.

Hegarty - Ummm... Origin 2003 game 2. How he played Origin I will never, ever know.

Sutton - Look, he belongs in first grade and he needs some time to grow but he's not as good as they say he is. For now.

Covell - Are you kidding me? Imagine having an awesome team and he's your winger. What a let down. No thanks! Harsh but fair imo.

N Cayless - heard he is been OK lately but he's a 'meh' for me. He's been regarded as a good prop over the years but I think he was good when he was younger and in such dominating Parra sides... Never really rated him too highly. Certainly not as good as the other props we've seen over the last ten years IMO.

B White - Personally, I don't see it. I'm surprised he is in such a top team like the Storm but maybe he suits their style.

The answer to this is simple. Nobody who is decent in rugby league wants to live and play in Melbourne. If they have the chance to move to a real league city they will.

Enticing a decent prop to Melbourne? No chance.

White can attribute all his success to Bellamy, Smith, Inglis, Cronk and Slater. Without them making him look good he'd be in reserve grade.
