There's been a bunch of stuff saying Coote has committed to the Cowboys, but I think they're all stemming from the same original source, which was some random Facebook post.

Very doubtful and beyond stupid. Coote is a fullback. Sure he can play in the 6 but it isn't his best position. They do still have Pearce as well.

Good news for Manly, he's been a liability almost this season. Now they can move Walker to right centre, Koroisau to five-eighth and actually develop a proper team.

Really good for the Cowboys and Coote for him to stay in Townsville. They'll be a chance of another Premiership over the next 3 years.
